I don’t think I’ve ever actually known a normal person. This has led me to believe that there is no such thing. I think everyone has at least something wrong with them psychologically. But as I mainly only know people related to me it could just be bad genes. So I’m interested to know if anyone knows anyone who is psychologically “normal”.

The chances of finding a normal, well-adjusted person are worse than your chances of winning the lottery.

Everybody's got something.

Its like the cartoon about ...."the Functional Family" Convention.....

Huge auditorium and there is one guy sitting in the middle of a sea of chairs.....alone

I always assumed that I didnt know any "normal" people because....

I hardly know any people
Normal people "bore" me,so they wouldnt catch my attention to make friends with
Normal people dont try to get to know me because "crazy" scares them

I did have one person at work who I liked and I thought was very "normal" but supper nice...but she was to busy having a real life to spend time with a crazy person outside of work...oh,well
Two of my brothers(from adopted family)seem "normal",but I barely know them, maybe they arent

All the psychologically normal people I've met or heard of are either in prison, in a mental hospital, or dead.

Beware of anyone that states they are 100% psychologically normal....they either have the strait jacket stashed under the seat of the car or a knife behind their back.

I think most people I know are too "normal" for my taste. But then they might have something invisible like my AS (which isn't too obvious), or just too invisible for me to notice.

Everyone has problems.

A person isn't psychologically normal if those problems significantly interfere with their lives.

I don't think normal people exist, it's a myth, we are all very diferent to each other.

I don't know any either. Want proof of how many people have some sort of problem? Have a look in any bookshop at how many "self help" books there are. Consider how many movies or sit-coms there are about dysfunctional families.

I used to wish my family was more like my friend's family. I later found out he wished his family was more like mine. I think everyone has some problem or other.

Theres no such thing as normal.

What most people call normal is simply a person whos close to average.

Fraya - like your signature. Reminds me: "if you win the rat race, you are still at rat"

Is Fraya a spelling variation of Freya, the Norse godess?

Kind of self defeating really because IMHO psyhologically normal people are also psyhologically ordinary. Anything that is ordinary is also pretty boring IMO,

Yeah also a homage to a good friend of mine who used the handle Fray but died a few years ago.. he helped me through a lot of tough times and I still miss him sometimes.

I've known many who fall within the normal range...

... and a more boring group of barely sentient sheeple you'll never meet.
