Three milligrams a day. Yes, Klonopin works wonders. It is also remarkably addicting. Do I care? No. I'd rather be dependent with an improved quality of life than the "person" I was before meds. I don't care if it is heroin; if it genuinely improves my life I have every intention of taking it.

My Happy Pill is a Hug, a bottle of Jack Daniels and a Hug. Best taken with a Hug. The Hug is important.

Does this have the same effects as Valium? (They're both benzodiazepines.)

Valium just makes me less anxious, not necessarily more outgoing, though (or, at the very least, nothing compared to entactogens).

having never taken Valium, I'm pretty confident A Hug is more powerful, but probably more addictive...

I've used other benzodiazepines. They don't make me happy because I hate forgetting things. And because social situations make me unhappy, with or without anxiety. If something unexpected happens while I'm on them (or most other depressants) then I have a panic attack because I can't analyze the situation effectively. That's a lot worse than the normal anxiety. In recreational doses it's just terrifying to wake up and not know what the hell happened yesterday. Thinking "just one more" combined with amnesia can also have scary consequences.

Oh, by the way I had a paradox reaction under Lorazepam, where I got highly active in the middle of the night.

I was in a hospital at that time, where they didn't know what to do with me, because they didn't wanted to give me something else. ^^

Also benzodiazepines can destroy your central coherences and I heared autistic people shouldn't take them because of that.

For me happiness would be a 12 pack of cold Red Bull.

Sure, if only I can buy one! (Once, while I desired a hug the most probably in my whole life (due to entactogens) I was denied it by everyone. Nope, apparently even money is useless at that.)

Would you be willing to give more details? Specifically, how does it improve your quality of life (what do you mean be the "person" you were before?) and also how is it addicting? Have you tried to come off of it?

I'm spacey enough, but on Lorazepam I just felt stoned. Like stare at the leaves on the trees for hours stoned. Not very helpful.

I was on it for 8 years. It helped with anxiety but made me sleepy and a bit forgetful. Eventually I did build up tolerance to it and abused it so my doctor switched me to lexapro (Cipralex) in Canada.
