It's almost Summer, my least favorite season. I can't stand the heat, and I often feel 'too hot' at lower temperatures than everyone else. The excessive sweating, lethargy, and need to stim are bad enough, but it really exacerbates my insomnia. The heat can mean the difference between a sleepless but restful night, or 8 hours of misery. My family seems incapable of understanding why I plan to move somewhere colder while they all want to head to warmer areas.

Does anyone else have problems with either high or low temperatures?

I struggle with temperatures as well. When weather is cold, my skin feels physically painful and my muscles tense to where they get sore. In warm weather I suffer from insomnia. I've worked in a hot or cold environment outdoors on construction jobs since I was five, but I never get used to it. I just tolerate it.

I've always been very sensitive to temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure.
There's only a 4*F span of temperature that I'm comfortable it.
The range shifts up or down with changes in humidity and/or density.
Outside the range I experience stress and anxiety.
I sweat very easily, and in excess. Cold is also painful.

In winter I'm always wearing gloves.

I have a very narrow range of temperature that I find comfortable. Since I live in the Midwest this makes life pretty miserable most of the year. Humidity seems to be a big problem for me. I cannot tolerate having any sweat on my skin, and since I am hypersensitive and prone to sweating, I quickly become miserable when the humidity gets above a certain level.

I have a home with a 1/4 acre yard which I maintain. I have found I must complete all landscaping projects and cleanup in the Spring before the temperature gets above 60 degrees, and likewise I have to wait until the temperature falls to below 60 degrees in the Fall to begin Fall cleanup.

When the weather forecasters talk about "nice weather" on the way, I always cringe because I know they mean temperatures in the 70's and above.

Summer is my favorite season. I am a person who wouldn't mind 30°C at 90% humidity all year. I hate the cold though.

I'm another one who seems to have a very narrow band of temperatures I feel okay in. I hate heat but I hate cold too. I tend to feel cold more keenly than heat though -- when others are saying it's nice and they're wearing t-shirts and bare arms, I'm still feeling it to be chilly and I'm still in a jacket and scarf to go out.

i hate heat; it's averaging 22 celcius where i live and i find that i'm nearing my comfort limits.
everyone states that it is "finally starting to get nice temperatures", while i wish summer was over already...

heat, humidity, sunlight, people living outside (= noise), let's just skip summer this year ok?

That's just like me. I love winter when it's cold and freezing

I hate hate hate hate hate the cold. Winter to me is like ten months of never being warm enough, it's miserably uncomfortable. Meannwhile, I do better than most in the heat. I can take high temperatures and be fine, but iif it's below about 80 degrees F, I'm simply not warm enough.
I have noticed that as I get older, my heat tolerance has reduced. I used to be just fine in 90 degree weather, but now that's too hot. 80-85 is perfect. Where I live, heat is always humid, so I might take dry heat better. I dream of moving to Arizona or Nevada, somewhere hot and dry.
But I'm also super sensitive to the sun. I burn really badly, really quickly. I use SPF 50 sunscreen, sunglasses and hats all summer long or else I crisp like bacon after ten minutes.

The mild temperatures here suit me perfectly, never too hot or cold.
I don't like the rain though, I think its the difference in temperature when it hits my face that makes it very uncomfortable.
I prefer dry heat over the humid type, but I'm fair skinned and have a few allergies, the worst one being heat rash. A doctor once joked with me that I was simply allergic to the summer, back when I used to get Cortisone injections for the few dry and warm-ish months here. They don't prescribe them anymore, so I take a daily spoon of locally sourced honey and that helps with hayfever and daily anti histamines for the skin allergies.

When I was younger I did not feel the cold, T-shirt and open toe shoes in the depths of winter... No problems!
My body temperature averages between 36-37C, so internally I'm not running a constant temperature that could account for being visibly hotter than everyone else. ( :jester: )
As an adult I still feel warmer than most people I know, but have to wrap up in wintertime.

*Extremely* sensitive to cold things. Cold weather is the worst, but really cold... anything... will do it.

Even something like drinking water; taken from the fridge, I must microwave it before drinking it.

The only things I allow to be cold are milk, and a few other dairy products. Otherwise... heat for me, thanks.

I'm stuck in freaking Illinois here (ugh I hate it) but am much more suited for either a tropical or desert climate. The weather being what it is here right now, I've not been in a good mood.
