If I get very hungry and can't or don't have the means to elimimate said hunger I get stressed. When I get stressed I can't pass as NT,leading to more stress and the cycle continues till I eat.Doubt many have the same problem,at least on this site.

I don't have that problem, but I know many autistic people who are the same (used to work in disability services).
Some can get violent when they don't eat.

Btw, I've never come across another person with the same problem as me - experiencing nausea and meltdowns from anyone (including myself) touching my scalp.
I need to be drugged to shampoo.

So I can understand your curiosity about these things.

My NT boyfriend gets in a bad mood when he's hungry. When he gets in from work he sometimes comes in like a bull in a china shop; barges everything and everyone out of his way, gets impatient, and won't be his normal self until he has eaten. It's worse when we're out, because when we go into restaurants he gets frustrated with me if I have never been there before and unsure of what to do. He doesn't get frustrated in a nasty or frightening way, just gets impatient and I can tell that it's best to just be quiet until he has eaten. But when he gets impatient due to being hungry, it gets me into a bit of a fluster, which causes confusion and object-blindness for me, which gets him more impatient, and things are just better once we have sat down and eating.

I do not have that problem at all. To be honest, i rarely get very hungry in the first place. I never enjoyed eating so i probably just got so used to rarely eating that i kinda stopped feeling really hungry.

I can get very 'hangry' if I can't eat and it's not my choice. But then I can fast for days and be fine, so it really depends on the situation.

No, I go way to long without eating most of the time. Very rarely do I feel hungry.

But yea, stress makes everything unravel

Stress is inevitable when somebody is very hungry.

It means the person needs food.

I don't think this is an autism thing more than it's a people thing.

The difference may lie in how one handles the stress.

The solution might lie in bringing an apple or banana or something of that nature with you when you know you won't be eating for a while.

Not all the time, but whenever I want something to eat, I usually eat an apple or a sandwich.

I've not noticed much evidence for that in myself. When I go without food for a long time I eventually get a mild stomach ache, but compared to my other sensory issues it's barely noticeable, and if I'm hyper-focussing then I don't notice it at all. OTOH, when I was working I used to get stressed out a lot in the mornings, and I sometimes wondered whether it was something to do with the fact that I never ate anything till lunchtime (I usually feel too sick to eat conventional breakfast food first thing in the morning).

My first reaction to the topic was, if you're hungry, why in the world don't you just eat? But then I remembered how teachers, employers etc. can be butts about eating.

When I'm stressed I can't do anything, I just go into my special interest and deflate. I'm kinda going through it right now.

I read it backwards lol, I think I have low blood sugar and get grouchy, shut down and overall get emotional, it's called hangry and it's a side effect of low blood sugar and common in many people.

I start to get very panicked and confused at simple things. It gets to the point where I can't even decide what I want to eat, then sometimes won't because of the anxiety having to make a food decision caused.
