I like the weather, too.

When I was 10 years old, I ran up a $600 phone bill--because I wanted to know the temperature of every place on Earth.

mines video games, especially sonic games (as you can tell from my avatar haha), i seriously won't shut up about video games most of the time, to the point where my mother told me to get more depth when i was younger. I talk about WoW too, (when im not talking about sonic haha) ive never really grown out of it, and still only really talk about video games. luckily my best (and only) friend is also ridiculously into video games like i am (he is also aspergers), haha people should listen to our conversations, we never shut up.

Difficult one for me, do not have trouble making friends, because of my special interests, some people when it comes to hobbies change them all the time.

So a friendship will last a few years, and it can become awkward, the relationship becomes superficial, they only come to see me, for help because of what I can help them with, not because they want a friendship false promises about coming to see me etc it never happens.

Taken me most of my life to realise this sadly.

I usually hear from people when they want me to fix their computer, or their girlfriend's, parents', etc. Or they wrecked their car and want advice on what to do.

I have aquaintences and a few friends through music jams, church, graphic novels, and a couple more of my interest.
I'm looking forward to an acoustic jam tomorrow evening. I'm staring to connect with more people at work. My boss has been helping and encourage my building relationships. The latter was a deficit to job success. and led to my seeking confirmation of my suspicions after lots of online quizzes.

I became popular during my elementary days by teaching my peers various crafting, so they can brag. Yet, popularity isn't exactly about friendships, more like competitions and connections.
Everyone appreciates me as some sort of a skilled craftsman, but not as me 'me' who take things literally and had this unaligned set of beliefs. :| I knew the difference long time ago.

I love collecting & playing with data to suss out correlations, so yeah, I've been fascinated with weather readings since I was a child. At least when they are available over time. In school we were taught how to do standard deviations and correlation calcs and I was enthralled. Then I learned how to calculate ANOVA's (analysis of variance) by hand. Eventually I gave in and used a computer. ;)

Anyway, I also love wind as does my daughter - we've been known to drop what we're doing and rush outside when a windstorm arrives & we've hiked to the top of ridges just to experience the wind.

We also have a data station that contributes to a website, but it's for background radiation not wind, temperature or rainfall.

No more than usual. Like my parents like to tell me, they may be dumb, but they still got farther in life than I did.

Exactly the same, It is certainly a strange mentality when I am only useful as friend to provide a service, I know sometimes I seem to be a friend just because of an Interest, but if it is something I am deeply passionate about, and want to mutually share the enthusiasm for the friendship works, at least with my Interests, I know what to talk about, and conversation progresses naturally, when the topic changes. I have no immediate answers, and awkward silences happen, that's when the friendship seems to stop, then I am only a friend again when I am needed.

As above I was told this over and over again, by real friends and family that do understand and care, it's a strange dynamic to understand, or was personally for me.

I would not class myself as stupid, but in some respects I can be very naive.
