Do any of you Troll sites for fun?

Its not usually in my nature to enter a situation with the intent on causing trouble, but I enjoy creating mayhem on US neo-con sites, under the guise of a person called Socialistforce!

Its quite funny watching their reactions as I say that President Bush was indirectly responsible for the London bombings.

Its a kind of "get your own back" for all the trouble Bush and his cronies have inflicted on the world.

Eight years of usenet has made me hate trolls with a passion.

Trolls are kids with no lives outside of destroying things for other people. The best thing to do when capturing a member of this "self entertained" class is get a good ash baseball bat.............

I am a no, but I cannot vote as it is not something I would like to do and I do not think it is irresponsible. I am just not interested in doing it.

I've always wanted to troll, seems like an awesome way to vent. I'm tempted to on this site from time to time, but I can resist.

No, but I've been accused of trolling even though it wasn't my intent.

I take extra caution not to get caught in Trolls. If somebody dissagrees with me, I just keep it at that.

I tend to fear confrontation and thus stay as far away from it as possible, often to my own detriment.

At the risk of sounding really dumb, can someone tell me what "trolling" is?
I just have visions of a nasty creature appearing out from under a bridge (from a story when I was young).

Trolling is that you make a controversial statement in a post, just to get other people upset and to see how they react.
Maybe you don´t even subscribe the statement yourself. You just want to watch other people´s reaction.
It´s a sort of joking in a nasty way, like a troll would do. That´s why it is cold trolling.

Sorry guys, maybe I should enlighten you as to my Trolling experiences. I didn't quite mean it the way people took it.

I didn't intend to troll the neo-con site in question at first. I simply felt that I had a right to discuss my political views (left-wing) with people who might disagree (as I do on this forum). I tried to make them understand the problems of global warming and war, and they told me to ****-off. Then it got nasty, and I told them that if they do not redress problems in the Middle East, they will face more terrorist attacks like 9/11. They took exception to that, and started slanging insults, by which point I was annoyed, and slanged some insults back.

I return to the forum every few months to see what they are up to. Bigotted lot. They haven't cancelled my membership yet, which I find surprising.

Sometimes I think people would probably accuse me of trolling when I'm really saying what I think, as I often say very off the wall things. But I often like to see how they react while I'm there. Some of my opinions I've made on the Rage (aussie music video show) websites guestbook, would probably be like that. But my opinions on there are definitely real.

Im new to this internet communication thing. I will try to stop anyone crossing that bridge when i come to it.
