Coke is my preference, and I will accept it in the can or in a glass or from fast food joints. I don’t like the other formats (glass bottle, plastic bottle). Pepsi is only ok in a glass. Also…the 2 liter cokes… if it’s under the label… I WILL NOT DRINK IT. It doesn’t matter if it’s only an hour old… I will open a new one or suffer from thirst.

My bed has to be arranged a certain way…as well as the four pillows I sleep with.

If someone uses my fork or spoon to give me a second helping of what I’m eating…I will want a new fork or spoon. I don’t like my food touching, and I eat one thing at a time. However, that usually results in me favoring one food item and forgetting the others. LOL

I prefer handshakes over hugs and kisses. The only people I really will hug and kiss is my mum and grammy.

I pretty much do the same thing every day. Get up, go to work, come home and do computer games and or tv and games. The one time I strayed from such things, and went to a local film festival, my parents called the cops.

I find it hard to ask questions about something….to get help with something.

When I get an interest…let’s say…vampires…I have to find everything about it…stories (fan fics and novels), movies, tv shows, drawings…If I try to ignore it…it eats away at me. But months later, someone will suggest something about it to me…and I’ll be like “I don’t like that.” And then later after that, I’ll have gotten back into it.

These are just some of the quirks about me. I know there are plenty more, but I cannot think of ‘em at this time. Feel free to share some of your quirks. ^_^

If there is not absolute silence, I sometimes have trouble sleeping.

I have to eat everything in evens, but some things in twos (french fries, chips, etc.). Evens when it is small things like sunflower seeds or popcorn.

It has to be absolutely dark before I go to sleep.

I need to be hugged constantly, but because I'm afraid to ask for them from people, I end up hugging myself.

When I shower, everything has an order (wash face-->body-->hair). Same when I out at at fast food restaurant (fries-->sandwich-->drink). This is usually the same order for dinner at school, but at home, since I don't like my food to touch, I get the main meal, then the side, then the drink.

My interests include comedy, which sucks because none of my friends are comedy fans of any kind, so I'm screwed and I can't talk about it with anyone, and I have this "need" to talk about it.

*And I do the same thing with my utensils. Has to be new.
*I also cannot ask for help.

I hate phones.

I absolutely must have Cheerios with skim milk and a glass of orange juice for breakfast every day, or the whole day is screwed up.

I hate touching paper or unfinished wood or unpolished metal. Shiny plastic or something rubber (as long as it isn't "dusty") cancels these icky sensations, so I carry a Koosh ball with me everywhere.

If there is background noise when I am talking, I cannot think.

I hate HATE hate phones.

I only eat the outside of certain candy, like peanut butter cups, and leave the middle.

The texture of pudding and yogurt freaks me out and induces my gag reflex, though I love the way they taste.

When I do something of interest or necessity, I need to be left alone. Eating and posting on here are two examples.

Did I mention I hate phones?

I struggle painfully with small talk, but I am fine with public speaking engagements and have done quite a few.

I think that's it.

Oh yeah, and I hate phones.

I'm not great with phones either. I think the inability for the speaker to see me wildly gesturing doesn't help get my point across it's not as if they can see me. The worst is if I'm ordering a takeout and they ask for directions to my house!

If I could take the person inside my head they'd see a full fly-over in realtime of the roads, but for some reason I can't translate this into words....

I apparently lie on my back in my sleep with both my arms held up, and stroke my forearms....

Sometimes (when I'm awake) I like to gently stroke and tickle myself, especially if I hear someone talking with a soft voice, but I'm self-concious of this so I only do it when I'm alone. I find the combination of the tickly feel and almost tickly voice is bliss to me.

I love to chew on bone, I have a bone hairpin which I've literally carved with my teeth, looks like it's been in a lathe!

Crowded places make me shut-down, if it gets to much I stand like a little girl and cry my eyes out until I get out of the situation.

I almost always miss the joke!

I can listen to a tune a few times and be able to play it on the keyboard, can't read music tho.

I have three pillows on my bed that I alternate between depending on how clean I am. I also don't let people sit on my bed unless all the covers are over the sheets and pillows. Some of my friends are unintentionally dicks about it because they don't understand how much I'm afraid of germs D:

Hell ya. And blinking lights, a steady light I usually don't have a problem.

*I like water out of a plastic cup, no glass
*Mashed Potatoes and Clow Slaw make me gag.
*I hum when I eat.(I don't realize it or hear it)
*I eat my foods one at a time. Ex. Rice and baked chicken for dinner. Have to eat all of the rice *or all of the chicken before I start the other.
*Food can't touch unless its meant to be that way(fried rice as example)
*I'm a neat freak.
*Never ask for help, even when I want it.
*Don't like hello and goodbye hugs/kisses
*Don't like spontanoues touches or barely. If are legs are barely touching off and on I hate it, its either all on or all off and keep the same pressure.
*Very punctual, never late, never early. (There are exceptions, job interview 5 mintues early, I'll stay in the car until it reaches 5 minutes on the dot)
*Don't like any of the music most people my age do.
*Anything that happens to one finger on my left/right hand I do it to the other, even if it means me jamming a finger, oh it has to be the same feel. If its too soft I do it again, too little and I got back to the original hand.
*Sometimes ticking clocks drive me crazy, as it happened in Kindergarden once, in the aftermath I got suspened. I want to see someone else get suspended in Kindergarden
*The little girl in 'Signs' is not crazy, if water stays out for an hour it does get stale.

I have more but I'm a little tired of typing

When I fall asleep, some part of my body has to be touching at least one of the two walls that border my bed.

To fall asleep, I NEED to be under some blanket or pillow (Heavier = better) but if I am not still a little chilly I can't fall asleep.

Whenever I get a new drink I need to use a new cup

If I don't follow the exact process in waking up in the morning it ruins the whole day (Get woken up at 6:00, Get out of bed between 6:25 and 6:30[unless I need to shower], get dressed, eat breakfast, sit and think until leaving for the bus at 6:53)

Room/Locker/etc. has to be exactly how I want it (Which changes by mood- sometimes neat, sometimes sloppy), and if someone else messes with the order I get very upset.

I can sleep with white noise, but only if it's very very very consistent.

I have to have a fan on me at all times when I am in my room.

When I go to bed, the fan has to be on, and I play my favorite internet radio show on my palm pilot.

When I am finished with a deck of cards, I have to put them back in order according to the way bicycle put them.

A lot of times, I am told that I shake my right hand rapidly, sometimes I do not even realize I do this, but when I do, it is comforting.

When I have the microwave on, I pace around the table clockwise, skipping every other tile.

I don't know why, but I like it better when my door is locked and shut.

When I eat, I eat one item at a time (e.g. frys-->burger-->drink)

When I leave my seat in the classroom, I have to take my backpack with me.

I can not get to sleep in dead silence, or when there is a light on. The lights especially bug me, which is why if I sleep with my computer on, I throw a shirt over the front of it so I can't see the light on the button.

If I am doing something I like, do not bother me, I am almost completely unresponsive, I zone out to the point that I can not hear what you are saying (e.g. when I am reading)

I check my email every hour.

I like wearing coats, I like the sense of familiarity and pressure it gives me.

I am very literal and almost never get the joke.

No one ever gets my joke because you actually have to think to get it.

I hate it when people make a grammatical error, I see it and I can not stop thinking about it when I am reading.

I do not like people who bastardize the English language (e.g. Ghetto people, rednecks)

I don't like really loud noises or loud people

I can not give up a book that I have read, if someone wants to borrow it, I say no.

I find it hard to throw away things.

If someone were to come in and clean my room while I was at school, I would freak out!

I find it hard to make small talk or talk in front of a group.

And MUCH more, I just don't want to bore everyone with my life.

I'm a compulsive cleaner, but not in my room.

I need absolute silence to talk on the phone. Its not this way in person, but I think it has something to do with not being able to see the person I'm talking to.

Certain things go in certain pockets, i.e. my wallet in my right pocket, my keys in my left, etc. It doesn't feel right if they're not in their place.

I always start shaving/brushing teeth on the same side.

I can't seem to do mundane tasks (like cleaning) without music to distract/motivate.

If I have a nice gadget (mp3 player, etc) and it gets dinged or scratched, I can't completely accept that its not in it's brand new condition. Unless I refurbish it somehow, a replacement is almost inevitable (this drives my wife crazy!)

When I eat, I start with the smallest item and work my way to the largest.

When I'm "lost in space", I'll organize things I'm staring at in my head (i.e. a pile of books gets neatly stacked, etc.) I also stare at disorganized things and form shape patterns out of them with invisible lines (i.e. three trees make a triangle). I tend to see everything in patterns and shapes.

Hmmm...there's more but I don't have time! Gotta go...
