There was a famous women on the internet a few years ago, from Canada I think, called Kathleen (nicknamed by others Kathloon). She used to post vast quantities of information about her hypothesis that claimed a link between Lyme disease, chronic fatigue syndrome and Asperger's (she claimed she had all three). She blamed the government for not treating her Lyme disease.
No one took her seriously, even more hated her. Her endless, never ending posts were often 10 to 15 pages long. I don't know where she got the energy for her near industrial output of pseudoscience.
So no, there is no connection between Lyme and Asperger's, you can't contract Asperger's via Lyme disease.
Anyone else know of Kathloon? How is she these days?
I remember her.
I don't like the nickname, though. Reminds me too much of how a bunch of people at a community center I went to bullied a woman who acted weird and had a bunch of psych labels. They called her Eiloon instead of Eileen and did all kinds of nasty things to her.
No idea how she's doing -- but Age1600 if your doctor is like this please get another one, this is really not the proper practice of medicine.
