REALLY????????? MOST people lose them starting around 6 or 7! 8O

For the record, I lost all mine, which were replaced with another set. A crazy dentist removed a LOT of them claiming my mouth was too small, and they were too large.

I still have all the ones that were left, though one is capped because that idiot made 3 major mistakes. I have known for DECADES, but what can I do? Luckily, one will likely be ok, the other may still last for years, but one finally succumbed, so I had it capped at an angle to basically make it appear as it should have from day one.

I did not get my teeth late, as far as I remember, but I do have a very small mouth; I had to have a couple of teeth removed. Also, I never developed wisdom teeth buds.

Of course. That goes without saying. Or does it?

I was born with a tooth, which I'm told is quite rare.

I was told mine are quite strong for that reason, getting my teeth late. I never had any cavities, and that's saying a lot because there was a time I never brushed my teeth. Didn't know that getting teeth late could be related to autism though.

I think I got my first tooth at seven months.

I was maybe 5 1/2 when I lost my first. I thought I was 6 1/2 because I had all my baby teeth in the photos but it was on the family video when I was looking in the mirror at my front tooth on the bottom. My dad said I have a loose tooth. The tape was dated '91 before my birthday.
As of April 1992 I still had all my baby teeth but by summer my front teeth came out and new ones were coming in. I probably only lost one baby tooth when I was 5 and another one didn't get loose till a year later. I came remember losing about two of my front teeth in school. I can remember one of them came out while I was in Music because I kept playing with it. My teacher would put it in the envelope for me to take home and she wrote a note about it but I can't remember if it was on a piece of paper or on the envelope.

But I never lost all my teeth though. I still have two of my baby teeth which are my top molars. Two of my wisdom teeth started to come in at age 22 but they never came in all the way. The one on the top sticks out a little but it's not all the way out. The one on the bottom is showing but not all of it came through. Part of it is still under the gum while most of the top one is still under the gum.

I think I got my first tooth at 6 months, which I think is about the right age.

My wisdom teeth never erupted, but I had them extracted when I was 18, because there's a risk of infection with impacted teeth, so my dentist said I would probably have to have them out at some point, and it's good to do it when you're young and you heal easily. Impacted wisdom teeth run in my family, by the way.

Edit: I looked it up. Most kids get their teeth at 5-7 months, but anywhere from 1 month to 18 months is considered normal.

Mom says at a normal age and she considers normal about half a year.

I can't remember when I lost my milk teeth. Sometime in-between ages 4 and 9 because on these photos I have all teeth. I just know that it was when most other children had teeth. And when I had mine, most other children didn't.

My wisdom teeth were taken out at... 14? or 15? years.
