Do people see you as a complete idiot or a complete genius?

what do you think of the term "geniot"?

I prefer "idius" - it sounds more Latin.

They have trouble figuring me out.
"How can a person so smart be so dumb" type of thing.

I guess that's what, at least in my case, being a geniotic idius is all about.

Literally half and half. Many people think I'm entirely incompetent and don't trust me with anything. They shun me away or only invite me when they need me, suck up until they realize they don't then kick me out again. Others are constantly awed by my supposed "intelligence" and are so fascinated by it that they categorize me as a "genius" at least to themselves. I think both sides are wrong though. My own view of myself is superior to the view of others because I don't ask for their opinions.

in my experience, there are definite positives and negatives to not asking others for their opinions.

I have three nicknames that people call me. Sid from Flushed Away, Schultz and Big Baby Schultz. I'm guessing that people think I'm an idiot. I have no problem with that as long as people don't call me the R-word. I guess that it's better to be a sweet idiot than it is to be a prickly genus.

I would rather be somewhere in the middle as a saccharine geniot. unless I could be a saccharine genius.

I rather like "idnius." It reminds me of volcanic rock.......

it could be another way of saying a person's cranium contains [idnius] rocks.

imagine if our skulls were made up of volcanic rock? That's solid rock, my friend.....

the extra weight would make whiplash something more violent than it is, presently.

People tend to get the impression that I'm a complete genius, for some reason, and then treat me like the world's biggest idiot when I can't live up to their expectations - that, or like I'm clearly the laziest person on the planet even though I was trying my hardest.

People tend to get the impression that I'm lazy as well. I hate that people think that because I don't think I'm lazy, I just lack discipline training and executive functioning skills.

People think I'm smart, though I don't feel like I'm intelligent.

I'm a geniotic idious, maybe mostly idiot.
I don't know how other people see me. It doesn't really matter. It never mattered.

that sounds like a good way to think about it.
