Yes. There is something about cats. I had two, who died eight and nine years ago - and I still miss them and can cry by the thought of them. Well I have another one now - a lovely red tom cat.

I don't normally cry at movies, but I cried at that movie "Changeling"... It was really sad!

I don't cry often and normally just get a sore nose when I'm upset. There have been a few times were seemingly random things have set me off, such as a nike advert - I think it was nike - around the time of the Olympics.

When other people are around, nothing.

When I'm alone, a particularly bad social encounter with someone or a depressive state may cause it. Almost every day I feel myself instinctively suppressing the urge to cry, even when I'm alone, because I would still be embarrassed of my weakness.

FUNNY DEATH METAL LYRICS OF THE WEEK: 'DEMON'S WIND' BY VADER
Clammy frog descends
Demon's wind, the stars answer your desire
Join the undead, that's the place you'll never leave
You wanna die... but death cannot do us apart...

I don't cry around others or make sure they won't see it

Every time I think about the soul crushing desolation of what should have been my childhood and my many failures that have stemmed from that.
Certain forms of media and art can evoke these memories, so technically I guess songs don't make me cry, my own experiences that I remember do.

My first response to seeing injustice or death is actually anger

Seeing a white Persian blue eyed cat like the one I had that died, reading about death and loss, thinking about missed opportunities, especially if they were my fault.

The last time I cried (it was 2 weeks ago)...I recently moved into my new house and the very first thing I did was to accidently lock the house with my house + car keys and mobile phone on the inside with myself on the outside with no way in (like through an open window - they were all firmly locked) and no way to call anybody for help.

I ended up catching a train into the city to go to the housing dept, only to be told 'we don't take responsibility for any keys we give to you'.

In the end, after 4 hours of crying my eyes out, I walked around in a daze and found a sympathetic locksmith who would allow me to pay off the $400 debt it cost me to get him to make an urgent house-call.

It was the most expensive mistake of my life.

I only cry in total frustration when I make a significant error which leaves me without any options whatsoever.

After that, I thought about 'what else can go wrong?'

What else can go wrong, is having my car break down in the middle of nowhere with no service on my mobile phone, no cash on my card and I am not even a member of the NRMA.

I cry whenever I'm up s**t creek without a paddle - anybody would.
