How come so many people here treat AS like a race/club?

Having a diagnosis of a disorder should be used for personal understanding, education of what you're up against, and opening up appropriate treatment options. It doesn't entitle the person to be part of some elitist club. It's not an excuse for anything.

Dunno, I think breeds might just refer to things that have been bred, deliberately. All the domestic animals seem to have breeds but I never hear about wild animals being categorized as breeds.
