MOST of the threads started by people seeking official diagnoses are so they can go get some sort of gov’t subsidy or handout of whatever kind because they are not able to function well enough to make it via their own ability to work & earn their way. That doesn’t apply to me.

What the heck does having EzraS to dinner have anything to do with you getting tested or spending your research budget?
He is the chief skeptic/cynic, so I offered to let him set the parameters of proof. Pretty simple. But like it’s been made crystal clear: he’s not interested in proof that I’m sharing my truth, he simply wants to argue that I am not.

All he is saying is to parade your ideas around to someone who can actually do something useful with it. But before you can do that, you have to be scientifically verified as being what you say you are. You're sharing anecdotes, not verifiable truth, get into a reputable journal as a objectively studied case study.
No I don’t have to be.
I told y’all pages ago I’ve already shared what I’ve learned with ASD researchers and will continue to. I simply informed them that I am self diagnosed just as I’ve been transparent here about. We still communicated back and forth just the same.
