To me it's kind of boring.

Oh, and here's a tasty irony for those interested: anyone notice?

Folks with ASDs are supposed to not like eyes anyway.

Yeah, that IS ironic! I try to sneak a peak at some eyes when they aren't looking. It IS funny though, I never noticed how much I looked at peoples mouths! And YEAH, I should have remembered about magnus. What a troll. Who am I kidding? She's probably a shar pei, since she talks about dogs so much! 8O

I'm not a troll. I know the term Idiot Savant is out of date. I don't think you understand me. I really think they wanted to create naive and docile people who would do as they are told and not ask so many questions so that they can be work slaves.

You don't think that there has been a rise in autism in the past decade? I'm sorry you don't see the obvious. It's not just that more people are being diagnosed. There are a lot of kids who are very autistic and many people are unfamiliar with this. I don't see you even questioning this new epidemic which further proves my point that apathy has taken over and people no longer think for themselves.

BTW I also think the nazis were experimenting with Huntington's disease.

If you think they were trying to create a superior race then their propaganda worked. They wanted robots and workers who were docile.

You both are trolls in this case.

The reason why I just want to single out blue eyes and not ask a broad question as to the person's heritage is because Nazi eugenics doctors were specifically trying to select for blue eyes. Why? I'm sure they were spending so much time and effort on their eugenics program for the mere fact of creating blonde/blue eyed people. Look at what they did with dogs. The German Shepherd is now a police officer in many cases.

Also, you can't rely on a person knowing his true heritage.

I have Paul Newman Blue eyes...don't know about conscience or logic issues...

did you know that Dr Mengele (nazi doctor) experimented on Jewish kids by actually injecting pigments into their eyes???

I also wanted to add that I know aspies vary as do all people have their own individuality, more so with some than others.
I know that some aspies are not naive and they can be the unsung hero who has great empathy and compassion for others.
But, take a look around, I don't need scientific support to show me that most aspie males can't even get a date or are not willing to fight a just cause.
Sure anyone can rage against the machine while staring behind a computer and when there is nothing at risk but most are little p**** cats.
A long time ago people had arranged marriages. It seems more reasonable that the spectrum would have been more populated back then but it is getting larger now. Why?

You don't have to agree with me but at least recognize a pattern. Why aren't the scientists trying to figure this out? They all shrug at the term evolution and ignore that possibility. Why aren't they up in arms and curious. It seems like they are shrugging their shoulders and telling everyone to look over there while they kick some more evidence under the rug. Most doctors talk about autism like parrots and use the term "they say" all the time.
Who are they? Please tell me. Are they some secret society?

I'm just going by my intuition. Please don't be offended by this. Come to your own conclusion and do your own research please. If you find the answer, please tell me.

Well, I admit pobodys nerfect(sp?) has a point about my following your line of the N word, though I didn't come hereto , and am not trying to, create problems. And I will bite here, only because it seems pretty tame.

1. I used to be VERY much like a kid and person with AS. I asked LOTS of questions. I STILL ask more questions than people would like and, if I didn't temper it, I would ask far more. I may have been naive, but NOW I am cynical. And I HAVE been too docile, but I HAVE been known to come out viscious. OK, I am not professionally diagnosed. Apparently, I am not that unusual given people diagnosed with AS. HECK, YOU seem to be asking questions.

2. I notice more autistic tendencies ONLY because I am looking for them. People that I have seen that have been DIAGNOSED are ones that a few decades ago probably WOULDN'T have been diagnosed. In any event, this society is more tolerant, and there are LOTS of toxins, etc.... I KNOW of many, and TRY to avoid them. The truth is that I CAN'T! If *I* can't, where does that put those that don't even CONSIDER such things? There are FAR more people in the world, and SOME have even said that many autistic people are getting married because of accepting cliques because of technology. BTW The scandinavians TO THIS DAY are PROUD of their viking heritage. It is CLEAR that they DID have a good run at having their day. They don't seem docile OR naive. THEY are akin to the people that the you know who's were trying to bring back.

3. Why would they be looking into "Huntington's disease"? Their leader is rumored to have had PARKINSONS!

I have hazel-green eyes. Sometimes they seem to be opaque like a swamp, but when I cry they become emerald green.

Meh, it's an easy question to answer.
Anyway, yeah ASD people are not supposed to like eyes, but have you looked at ALL the eyeball avatars on this site? At least 10+.

It's not hard to become fascinated with something you're afraid of.

2Ukenkerl, you bring up a good point about diet. The only thing that is acknowledged by the medical industry as having some affect on autistic people is the gluten and casein. But, people have been eating dairy and wheat since America was founded. Why is it just now starting to affect people?
There must be something different in our diets now. I think there are chemicals being used that should be identified. I don't know of any serious research by the government being conducted on this at the time. In fact, they claim that it is strictly genetic. It seems like they are hiding something. But why?

With all that being said, I still think that there are more mutations occurring at an extremely fast rate. Is this natural? I know evolution can occur quickly under severe environmental pressures by causing rapid mutations. But, where is the stress factor?

Also, I realize that when you search for something you tend to see it pop up everywhere. But, you just can't ignore these kids who can't talk and who are dumbfounding the medical professionals. I see more autistic children than ever. There are many I see who are suspected aspies but then there are those who are low functioning by NT standards. My niece is the first person in our extended family to exhibit "low functioning" characteristics.

One more thing about the gluten/casein diet. I notice that parents who put their kids on this must shop at health food stores and more often tend to buy organic produce and are not the types to take their kids to McDonalds. I do see a diet connection and that opens up a new can of worms. Why doesn't the government take this seriously and attempt to regulate what goes into our food. My intuition says there is something they are not telling us and that there is something they can do about it but they don't.

I could make a new thread called "Junk Food feeds the Sheeple" but I'm afraid I already made too many enemies for one week here.

Frankly, I haven't personally met any that couldn't talk. If I get stressed, I have TROUBLE, etc... but usually I talk FINE. Most people I have known with AS are the same way. Most autistic people I have met are the same way.

On the whole, that is not supposed to be the case, though EVERYONE is lower functioning than someone else on SOME level.

Actually, Organic food isn't needed, and merely switching to organic won't help. You SHOULD be able to have mcdonalds food as long as you stay away from things like some dressings, bread/bakery products, and milk products.

No!

People have eaten domesticated Wheat and other agrarian products for 10 thousand years. America has existed for less than 250 years. It was a sporatic/seasonal part of their diet for far far longer than that. Thats the lifespan of
40 Americas.

It totally changes the gist of your statement when considering a sensitivity to wheat.

What you might want to look into is corn. Thats something that Europeans have not had lengthly exposure to. Not much longer than the founding of America and really only pervasive in the last few decades.

Corn products are used everywhere. You'll find corn starch, corn syrup and corn meal in just about everything. French fries? You know those battered ones? Corn in the batter. Milkshakes? Thickened with corn starch. Same with gravy. Corn syrup is very common in anything with sugars.

I wouldnt be surprised if some of the yellow food dyes came from it either.

Hazel eyes, light yellow-brown in the center and yellow-green outer rings, and light brown/dark blond hair. Yeah, my eyes and hair are pretty much the same color. (Everyone else in my family has either dark or blue eyes. :?) I'm usually much more logical than emotional, but when that balance is disturbed I act crazy. I don't think physical traits like those have anything to do with innate personality traits.
