QFT by me too, can I quote that in my signature please?

I don't know what I am, AS, NT, SZ, MR,
I don't know hoo to trust anymore, doctors, pht.

I have been told that I play like a kid and
it is easy to make me happy, ie, when my cousin
tossed an empty plastic bowl into the kitchen
sink, it made a funny sound, it hit the end of
the sink and bounced out onto the floor and
made that bo----wo---wo--wo-wowowowowow
sound and I started laffing my bum off and
that is when my cousin said what is so funny
with him? and my brother said it was the
sound of the plastic bowl, and my cousin
giggled then, and said "he sure is etrtaind easy"
or something like that.

I have no problem with this, it is just
the way I react.

Had to only quote a part of it. Stupid character limits.

No, it is not exactly true that NT's are happier than AS but the thing is most the times they find it easier to hide those emotions and move on with the days compared to some with AS who would have troubles hiding it and would become recognizable by either through the behaviour etc.

Depression can happen to anyone but someone with AS seems most likely to become more depressed due to either childhood, the condition that they have making them feel ashamed (like me) etc.

Happiness is subjective. How does one compare happiness between two people? It is not like measureing length.

Anyways, NT's are generally happier since they are the majority and society is constructed to adapt to the needs of the majority. A social life is considered to be a MAJOR part of a person's life. Since that difference alone separates NT's and Aspies big time, the needs of both groups are entirely different.

You're mistaken. Not all NTs are social people.
I said GENERALLY, not ALL. And even if I did say ALL, it's a given that I meant in GENERAL. Obviously not all NT's are social. Society is adapted to the majority, which are NT's. The majority of NT's are social. Therefore, society is generally adapted to meet the needs of social NT's.

If you wanna get technical, society isn't just adapted to meet the general social needs of NT's, but the needs of NT's in general. So a non-social NT will still have a easier time adapting to the structure of society than an aspie.

@nupkin: First off, I think it's pathetic you look down on people just cuz they like football and f*****g. Secondly, I dunno why so many people on this board hate small talk so much. I understand it might not be their type of thing, but daamnn I can feel the antagonism. I don't always have the energy to put thought into deep subjects. Most of the time I'd rather just kick back, laugh, and chat about whatever.

@ruveyn: You leave it to common sense. Yeah, it's not like measuring length, but some people are generally happier than others. You can pretty much feel it. Yes, people do hide their emotions and such, but if one person's constantly pissed off and the other is generally in a relaxed mood then the other is obviously happier.
