I don't mind them.

And I came from a country that deals with storms on a yearly basis.

By regular, I meant about 4-5 with a good chance that at least 1 major storm hitting my region and many of which are thunderstorms.

I used to be really afraid of thunderstorms to the point of panic attacks. It was mostly about the noise, especially when I wasn’t fully expecting it. I still wouldn’t say that I like thunderstorms, but they don’t bother me as much as they used to. I enjoy feeling and listening to rain.

I've never really liked thunderstorms. Especially when accompanied by heavy rain and wind. They use to scare the living daylights out of my mother! As I get older they are starting to scare me more!
