One of my psych profs/counselors suggested to me, long ago, not to take the Personality Disorder thing TOO seriously.
I show some Schizoid traits, of course,
But aside from Sociopaths & Borderline people, these are not really very useful labels. And its another way to write off difficult people who are hard to treat.
Just saying, from an ex-psych student/ASD perspective.

I was re-assessed last summer in light of some fears I might have a schizoid-type mental condition as well as AS, it was decided I just had AS with very high levels of anxiety.
