I would ban children in Grocery stores

and

lanes that suddenly become turn lanes with no warning

Job interviews (it should all be done on performance test scores!)

Small talk in the workplace - SHUT UP & let me concentrate!

All mobile phone calls that last longer than 5 minutes

Drinking enough to get sick

Political Correctness

I would ban idiots in my school... Apple compters and laptops... And these stupid finger mousepad things. They mess up my typing.

People who clap along with songs (I have sound issues and that one makes me insane. Applause is one thing. Clapping en masse in time to a song is another. Makes my skin crawl and my head feel like it's running into my shoulders for cover).

Religious people who knock on your door because apparently somewhere in the Constitution it says its their right to annoy their fellow man.

People who push and push and push you to try things because they like them, certain that because they like them, you will too (yes, dear father-in-law, I'm talking about you).

Balloons (I'm morbidly afraid of them. Really)

That weird turkey leg booth at Six Flags. It reeks. And even if it didn't, even if I had no sensory issues at all, who wants to carry around a giant Henry the 8th-esque turkey leg around a sweltering hot amusement park anyway?

Puppy Mills (the Pass Pets--huge offender--at the closest mall to us just went under. Aw, boo-hoo. Now people will have to go to the Humane Society or rescue groups. How will they ever manage the inconvenience of not being to pick up lip liner and a dog at the same place? )

Speaking of which...Malls (though I will say, I do sorta like Sephora. )

Um...I LOOOVE turkey legs...especially at the State Fair.

I especially hate it when people clap along with songs out of rhythm. Awful. I have to leave where ever I am when that happens. It makes me freak out.

When a close talker is victimizing me, I end up doing this slow-mo waltz across a room, until s/he corners me, and I have to go into a mini back-bend to escape the face-to-face proximity. I have HUGE issues with re-breathing the air that someone else just exhaled. It makes me want to gag.

You know, Ohio was pretty boring..

Word up. And it always seems like they're f*cking something up for me....

Making any noise (especially playing music) such that people can hear you.
People who don't share the sidewalk/corridor - no not banning the behavior. You do it, you lose your existence privileges.

The idea of banning things.

Amen to that, and that's exactly what I did at the age of forty after almost a lifetime there, born and bred, with most family there. Packed up the car, said goodbye, and drove away for a job in Rapid City, SD, in the Black Hills area. Had a great time with the grant-funded position wihle it lasted, met a wonderful fifty-something Aspie, and now here I am, nearly three years later, newly and happily married to said Aspie. I will NEVER return to #@$%#^$ Ohio!! !
