27
I think it would have been lower when I was younger, but I've learnt certain stuff with age (e.g. don't give an honest opinion on a haircut, even though they ask you for one  )

I've never taken this test before and got a 15.

When I did the Autism Spectrum quotient test I got 35.

I'm trying to do that "mind in the eyes" test. Some seem obvious to me but some I think I'm going to have to randomly pick because none of the choices seem any better to me than the others.

I got 26 and it said a typical score is 22-30. There is a problem with this test. It is multiple choice. You have a 1 in 4 chance of getting it right by clicking randomly. Had I had a longer list of possibilities for each one or especially if I had to type in what they were thinking or feeling I would have done much worse. If I had to type it in with no hints I wouldn't have known many of them.

In the systemizing quotient test I got 19. That's low. It says most women score 24, men score 30, and people with aspergers 40-50 or higher.

does that make less asperger because of the low SQ???

can anybody answer my question , please?

I think the most accurate answer anyone can give you based solely on that information is "maybe".

I got a 9! Woohoo!

If I'd taken this when I was 15, it would've been a 2 or 3. So I can has improving!

Oh, and I scored 100% on "pragmatic." That made me laugh.

I got a 16, lower than I thought I'd get but the questions were strange. The do people say ones are hard since no people don't day those exact things to me and how often is often, question? I remember slights and wrongs done to me(even if it turned out later that I was wrong and not the other person). Those things don't happen often but I remember them unlike all the IEP meetings my mom and I went to when I was a kid. She says I was there for them and I know kids are usually required to be at IEPs but I don't remember going to them at all except for a few in High School.

I was really surprised that I got 19, especially since I answered at least half of the questions in a way that I thought would exclude me from the AS altogether. Go figure. I guess I know even less about autism than I thought.

Here's one I don't get:

Quote:
I dream most nights.

Do some autistic people not dream? Do they dream a lot? I've never heard about this. All I know is that I dream more than anyone else I know. Even if I only sleep for a few minutes, I have a little neat story line worked up. In addition, I can create remarkably elaborate interactive scenery and epic metaphorical themes. Is this common? Rare? AS associated? NT associated?

I don't understand that question either. Everyone dreams. It happens during the r.e.m. phase of sleep. They have done studies on non-human animals and deprived them of r.e.m. sleep (and thereby dreams) and it has driven the animals insane.
I don't know what they are getting at? Maybe they should ask do you remember your dreams? I only remember about two a year. But the fact of nature is that I dream every night.

Oh, I got a 10 on the test. Actually a little higher than I thought.

Lower than I would've guessed - 12.

Honestly though, I can't even grasp many of the questions. I mean, most of my own emotions are thought and not felt. If that makes any sense...

12, low as usual. I honestly dont think I truely have this little empathy. Maybe its my general self-perception? On the otherhand, I dont really feel for people. Im trying to get better, a few situations have forced me to develop more empathy.

I thought it would be higher. I think I took this before, but I don't remember what I got.

I can't remember, was this the test that asked if I memorized investment stock quotes?

I was completely offended by that. By the implication that an affinity or aptitude for numbers was equal to a desire to ride off of someone else's accomplishments... or worse, suck the life blood out of working people. (that's how I feel about investment.)

A lot of the questions seemed to have an unconsciously hidden moral agenda.
