KenG has for a couple of years now, and is going again this year, and he likes it, just wishes it were bigger!! ! :D ( previous years there have been between 55 and 70 people ).
That is correct. I wish there were about 500 - 700 people at Autscape. Even 5,000 - 7,000 people could still be nice.
Anyway, even 55 - 70 people are better than none.
Many major events started as small ones, so I still have hope for the future of Autscape.

Autscape would almost fit into the last days of my holiday and I decided to attend when that opened. I'm looking forward to meeting some Wrong Planetarians (or should I say aliens?) and I hope to wear a green badge as I'm shy and awkward but wish to be coaxed nice and gently out of my shell .

That's great. It will be nice to meet you. I remember you expressed an interest before in a London meet of some kind while you were in England.

I haven't even thought about which badge I will wear. I wonder if you can change which ones you wear during the conference, depending on how you're feeling.

Thanks, ouinon. I joined the Autscape group on Facebook not long after hearing about Autscape.

yes you change the colour depending on how you're feeling. the 'badge' is a clear plastic thingy containing three coloured bits of card, you just move the relevant colour to the front.

There is now a list to send your questions to if you have queries about how to get to Autscape. The list address is:
totravel at lists dot autscape dot org
(remove all spaces. "at" means "@", "dot" means ".")

The schedule hasn't been published yet, but perhaps Autscape's organising committee can answer your question. The committee's contact details are here: http://www.autscape.org/contact

I'd love to go but sadly I probably won't be able to. I'm going to London in July, but not in August.

I've noticed that the wrongplanet community places a huge emphasis on emotions, and hyper-empathy. Is this reflected at autscape? Is there any reason for someone who lacks empathy to goto autscape?

Autscape's organising committee need to give the venue their provisional figures by mid July and so would appreciate it if people could please register by 15th July.
Anyone with special needs, special diet, who must have a single room or is a child must have registered by this date so that the venue and childcare people can complete their planning.

Autscape is for aspies/autistics who enjoy spending time with their fellow aspies/autistics.
If you enjoy spending time with your fellow aspies/autistics, then you have a good reason to go to Autscape.
Otherwise, you may still want to go to Autscape if the presentations interest you.

Do the presentations' descriptions sound boring to you? Or is it the whole concept of Autscape that sounds boring to you?
(One needs to remember that the presentations are merely one aspect of the whole Autscape experience).
