I missed this thread, it was almost 4 months ago, omg!

Members should title their important news "Extra! Extra!" as I do, so others can have the opportunity to congratulate them, because I felt that I hadn't been invited to the wedding party thread. :(

Again I am very sorry. I didn't find my own wedding important so this wasn't even meant to be a celebration thread. I didn't tell anyone at my job either I was getting married except for my boss when I told her I needed to take time off for my wedding. Then people were finding out after I had gotten married because I had a different last name and they go "I didn't know you got married" or "You never told us" and "Did you get married?" and I asked one day if I was supposed to tell people.

I can understand that it wasn't so very important for you, because I feel the same about my birthdays, and so does my Aspie father. But for us here, Spokane_Girl's getting married is a big event. It's hard to explain, sometimes our big events are bigger to our friends than to us... :)

Aww, short of being born, or giving birth, it's one of the biggest events in life there is.

I wonder what else is important here for everyone to know? Being newly DX'd and weddings and being engaged. What else? Do I need to make an announcement when I get knocked up again or make a new thread announcing my new job?

Yes.

Belonging with a group of friends has its perils, I'll give you that. :)

I have surprised myself many times.

Last Wednesday, I had locked myself out of my car when I was getting something to eat, and I had to call a locksmith to get my car open. In the process, I ended up missing South Park (a show that is so important to me that I require anyone I date to watch it, as well as the Simpsons). Thank goodness they reran the same episode at 11:00pm (it was a new episode).

I remained cool, calm, and collected in the whole situation, which would normally have given me a severe meltdown. I haven't had any meltdowns in over three months.
