i still believe they somewhat fake sadness though. and pain. or at least they amplify it ...there is no way one can feel an emotion strongly AND be able to run around saying how it hurts on all possible octaves. If they DO feel as much as they say then it's just really awkward and immodest and embarrassing to show it like that.
wait , where was my point again?
i don't know , i have no reason to believe they lie when they say they feel things so strongly , but i get that "awkward"feeling , that tells me they're overdoing it. to what purpose? i have no idea! to appear even more emotional than they already are?
now i need help to stop being so judgemental. i really do.

Yes, I used to think that but as I said I've no idea now. But, what I wonder is if they are faking - WHY?? I know why I try - and fail - to fake it, because they INSIST on it, but why do they do it if it's not real? That would mean everyone was faking for no real reason and that's even more bizarre to consider. If they are all faking maybe would could get them to stop. LOL. They might find it a relief. I know I would.

nts fake it, i fake it, albeit horribly; however, when we get down to the true person NTs don't have as many issues as us. I've seen my other friends and my past friends get along with others once they dropped their fake self, me on the other hand, can't. I can't relate to others most of the times...

My grandfathers both served in World War 2 and saw how non conformers have been handled in other countries. they came home believing that you must fake it or the government might send you to a goulag or a death camp.

My one grandfather left the conformity of a Holdeman Manonite colony to join the Canadian forces and fight against opressive governments that force you to be what they tell you to be - he was never welcome back in his community. his family shunned him and all his decendants (I have never seen our family's colony) He did not regret his decision but was considered crazy when he lied at 14 to join the Canadian Army. It's a wonder he survived the war.

I have never been able to fake it and am often accused of being defiant also.

I like sushi and tofu by the way - I also like rare steaks . . . actually I like food in general if it's prepared right but this means I can't join either camp - the veggies won't have me and the carnivors cringe at my tofu and tempe
