By the way, I think I'll copy your idea of the USB, good one.

I've put on a lot of weight with the anti-depressants. It's a real bummer...

Maybe do a search on Temple Grandin and SSRI meds on the net.
I like her approach and it has worked beautifully for me. Where doctors told me to increase my dose, I did the opposite - i lowered it, which is what Grandin talks about doing with SSRI's. Some of us need LESS and NOT MORE - because of the old ASD hypersensitivities. (and it is not just placebo effect....)
I now have reduced interferences with co-morbids such as anxiety and depression (the former makes my stimmig OFF meds problematic) and that means I can live more peacefully and happily.

Quietly, more peacefully. More happily.
I combine this with an exercise regime and seeing an ASD psychologist. I am actually finding out for the first time in my life what it is like to live without a kind of cacophany of sensroy overload in my brain.
I went for an amazing walk in the rainforest the other day - I am finding a way to live that is good. I am still obsessive and driven and focused on my special interests and I am still autistic and like my own time and company best.
I function best with email and forum exchanges with people. I have cut out phone contact with people the past few weeks - something I can do quite easily, - and I am amazed at how much more peaceful I am. I think I will just stick to email except when absolutely necessary with my work commitments.

SSRI's help me.

For others with ASD's, SSRI's make scant difference.

good luck.
