Help needed by diagnosed Autistics
rdos,
The point is, you need to define what type of empathy you're testing. As per the article, it shows two disorders that are defined by a lack of empathy, but both have different manifestations. Insensitive to others' feelings for the psychopath, and naive/blind to others' feelings for the person with an ASD. People often confuse them.
O, and to add, you can get people who lack both types of empathy, i.e., a person with both antisocial PD and an ASD dual diagnosis. There's many cases in literature.

Autistics, OTOH, are natural empaths, but cannot easily understand others feelings.
You say this, and I was expecting to also discover this, but I have not been encountering any evidence of this in the words of the autistic members of this group. Please show me what you mean by this. Apparently your words don't have the same meaning to me, as to you.
Those few who have confessed to experiencing something like this, also experience anxiety in response to this experience. What is the value of that?
Also I am curious if you are speaking about Autism, in those who do not also have Non Verbal Learning Disability(NLD).
