I do have a loud voice yes and it is also slurry sometimes and I also talk very fast so I've kind of pulled the short straw when it comes to my voice.
The other day at college I had one ear phone on and one off, and when I thought I was talking quiet my mate laughed and said I was shouting, but I was listening to music so you can sort of let me off. Even when I'm not wearing headphones I still shout.
But it can go the other way too, I have a habit of trailing off into a mumble at the end of sentences, and sometimes I barely wisper "hello" when someone says hello to me when walking past.

I don't have an indoor voice. This may be because I have a powerful voice. I can make people jump when I whisper.

Possible tangent (sorry) but does anyone else have that thing when you try to speak but you can't make noise come out? It doesn't happen so much now, but but it's like my brain and vocal cords ignore each other.

Other than that, yes my voice is too quiet, however it sometimes (usually during an unexpected hush) it comes out too loud or really high and squealy, which makes me angry with it.

Yep at times. it kind of happens when sometimes greets me unexpectantly, my hello hardly comes out at all. And sometimes if I'm not comfortable with a person I feel like I'm forcing myself to talk when my mouth doesn't want me to.

I have that too; sometimes it takes me a couple of attempts to get the connection between my brain and my mouth working. I don't think it's anything to do with how comfortable I am with the other person, as it happens with people I've known for years.

I had to really work on my voice when I was younger. It was always too quiet when I was shy, but with family, it was far too loud. And my laugh sounded like a donkey braying.

Nowadays I only get too loud when I'm excited about something, and then I catch myself and reign it in. My laugh is a lot less spontaneous now... in fact, I hardly laugh aloud at all. I feel a laugh coming, and I still smile with it, but my hand goes automatically over my mouth.

To be honest, it's a small price to pay in order to have people listen to me.
