how strict are your routines?

I try to routinize mundane things as much as possible so that I will do them and not forget things. Like in the mornings when I go to work, I have a grooming routine that includes brushing my teeth and shaving. When I don't follow that routine, I don't groom. I leave my cell phone, watch and employee badge in one place so I won't forget them when I leave for work in the morning. When I'm not working, I can easily forget my watch and cell phone.
