I go to the movie theaters alone, though it has more to do with the fact that I don't really have anyone to go with, unless I'm visiting my friend. When I visit her we usually go and see a movie during my trip. I like going with her because she doesn't really talk during the movie, though we'll exchange glances periodically at good parts of the film. Then we talk about it after.

As far as watching movies at home, well, there again I do so alone because... :( I tend not to watch a lot of new movies at home. I find I tend to watch the same movies I like over and over.

I also prefer the smaller art-house type theaters to the big theater chains, though they don't always show movies I'm interested in. When I do go to the larger theaters I usually try to go during matinees as its cheaper and there's usually fewer people there. However, I have gone to several midnight premiere showings, and that can be fun, depending on the movie; it's almost interactive with the way the crowd responds

Alone. Particularly with a drama or a film that consistently makes me cry. And especially with anime.
Unless it's a slasher horror flick. Violence and viewing company are proportional. The more blood and gore, the more people it will be enjoyable to watch with.

By the way, if that picture is you, then you have absolutely perfect cheekbones. Almost like a young Meryl Streep.

i agree about the crying. because i hate crying in front of other people.

thanks for the compliment. :)

i like wathign movies with other people, but it depends entirely on the situation. comedies are funner with friends.
