Bevis and Butthead: were they Aspies?

Weirdly enough, I'd love to think that they are. Mostly because I love that show.

No, just disgusting idiots.

No, they were just incredibly stupid!!

And probably psychopaths because they sometimes tortured or killed small animals.

They made Wayne and Garth look like intelligent, mature, responsible young adults.

Now that I think about it, Garth kind of acted like he was autistic. He was really "adorkable".

They were a couple of idiots. Unfortunately, I knew kids like that.

Saying this, the show was entertaining because......it funnily portrayed a couple of idiots.

Aspie? Nope....just a couple of nincompoops.

Nope. Daria was, though.

I once had a crush on a girl who had the same voice as Daria. She sort of looked like her, too.

Niether Beavis, nor Butthead possessed a single aspie trait. In stark contrast to the guys on the Big Bang Theory, and to Brick on "the Middle", who all reeked of stereotypical aspieness.

So, obviously no, they weren't aspies.

No, they were just plain stupid.

And my god, was the drawing ugly on that cartoon.

I LOVED the show & imitated it & quoted it alot at inappropriate times which is probably related to my Aspergers. I think B&B were dumbasses instead of Aspies. Like another poster mentioned, I think Tom Anderson was alot more likely to be on the spectrum or at least his spin-off Hank Hill was. Hank was very predictable & straightforward, had a hard time expressing emotions other than anger/frustration & a hard time dealing with others emotions & he had a special interest which was propane
