What is the aspie answer to this question?

If the question were phrased:

" Are same sex friends of greater importance to you than opposite sex friends?"

my answer would have been "no". All friends are of great importance to me no matter the gender. I think it's a matter of interpretation and that there is no true Aspie answer. Gender is not a determining factor for me when it comes to friendship. Loyalty is. Followed by strength of character.

I think that the Aspie answer is no and NT answer is yes. Socially speaking people wants same sex friends, intellectually speaking doesn't matter.

I answered "no." I tend to have more difficulty relating to other females.
