Im with spazzergasm, the superhero/adult swim/star wars shirts sound pretty cool to me. Sounds to me like it also expreses how you truely feel.

In the summer I wear a white t shirt and jeans. In the fall/winter I wear a white t shirt with some other colored t-shirt over it, a sweatshirt or fleece, and jeans. Gloves and a hat are necessity as well, i get really really cold!

Sometimes though when it is hot in the private of my own home i'll be just fine wearing nothing but undies. This drove some of my old roomates crazy I think.

For about 20 years (before that I couldn't dress myself) I had very particular tastes in clothing. It cannot be itchy, like wool, or some fake materials. If it's going to be worn during the winter, the material has to be incredible soft so I can sweat in it, and not get itchy. I remove all the tags of my clothes - pants, shirts, shoes if necessary, underwear and bras. I used to dress in monotone - I remember in particular having a magenta outfit in 4th grade. When I was in 3rd grade, I started picking all the embroidered logos off my clothes. All my clothes are plain colors, with no designs.

About two months ago, I started working and was able to go clothes shopping. I spent about two months prior to shopping really just examining what other people were wearing. I looked for key colors - green and brown being my favorite - and looked to see what others considered a "complete outfit". I was a bit surprised, but then one day I went on a spree at Good Will. I now wear only soft, stretchy pants (gaucho and palazzo) with a longer t-shirt and a long, mid thigh length cardigan, or hoodie. The colors I wear are brown, black, white, and green. I wear red on occasion. I have very few other colors. I tend to wear certain "outfits" quite often, and have been known to wear the same thing two to three days in a row because I liked it so much. There is one pair of pants I absolutely love wearing. They feel so good! They're cotton and (something stretchy) palazzo pants that I had to sew a little tighter because they were too big. They fit so amazing well, and I think the back looks neat (where I sewed it). I wear underwear only on my period. Other than that, I do not wear them.

At home, when no one's around, I do walk around naked most of the time. I like wrapping myself in these really amazingly comfortable sheets (with the tags removed, of course).

I'm plus sized (2x) so finding clothes that look good on me and which are affordable is a challenge.

I wear a uniform at work (a pink scrub dress). It is comfortable, durable, looks good and easy to launder.

At home, I wear jeans and various tops. The jeans I have are getting worn. I bought them from Costca about five years ago for $20 (I bought three pair). They are comfortable, fit properly, look good and were very affordable. Unfortunately, Costco does not carry this brand in my size anymore  I am not fond of shopping and even less fond of shelling out excessive money. I need to check out some of the discount stores (Walmart - which I am not crazy about supporting) or Zellers (a Canadian discount store) or ???.

When I go out (which is rarely), I wear a dress that is very classic in style (so I don't look dated). I have a Indian scarf with gold metalic details which doubles as a shawl and I look quite sophisticated and feminine in the outfit (the scarf cost a whole $15 and I have had it for almost eight years).

If I am lucky, I will find some reasonable nice clothes at a couple of programs that I attend with my kids. The programs have a clothing exchange. I bring clothes that the kids have outgrown and pick up other kids clothes that they outgrown. There is also adult clothes that people donate (when they clean out their closets or lose/gain weight or ???). I have found some nice pieces there and they are my favourite price (FREE!! !! !).

i like that you wear dresses, Canadianrose, i love classical styles like you. they are such an under utilized article of clothing. i love wearing them when weather permits. i forgot to mention i had this summer dress. i love it because it's the best, smoothest material ever. it feels like i am naked, and i get compliments on my body whenever i wear it. :D

I, usually, wear long sleeve cotton shirts, charcoal, or short sleeve shirts made of cotton, as well, with dark jeans or cargo pants.

I find skirts to be more freeing. 'Tis a good thing I'm female.

Agreed. I don't know why many girls do not like wearing skirts... They are very liberating. Unfortunately (in this regard, at least), I am not female. That being said, I tend to wear old jeans and T-shirts. I really dislike new socks, as they are fuzzy and uncomfortable.

Very particular about feel and style. I could not wear anything with tags nor jean shorts as a kid as the fringes bothered me.

Until the last few years, I could not wear flip-flops as the thong bothered me (now I wear em nearly every day in the temperate days). Funny thing is, I had a major
aversion to being barefoot in public till I sprained my ankle (and had no choice) in 12th grade.

All cargos (pants and shorts) all the time (they're loose and spacious), socks have to be hanes tube socks (and the if there's new and old in the drawer, they gotta match.

I've been thru 5 major shirt phases: all collared, all graphic T, all Hawaiian, all Old Navy long sleeve button down. And now all superhero/star wars tees. I had an opportunity to lose the conservative look and allowed myself to admit I'm a major geek (and now geek is the new chic) so for once in my life, I feel cool when I leave the house.

- Sneakers
- Ankle socks
- Boxers
- Jeans
- Tee shirts and long sleeve shirts
- Hooded sweatshirts

I mostly prefer long sleeves because the feeling of the fabric just seems more comfortable to me. Wearing tee shirts rather than long sleeved shirts is fine most of the time, but unless it's ridiculously hot out, I'll avoid shorts at all costs.

Only going to discuss outer wear.

Spring - Early Fall: Khaki shorts, T-shirts, regular socks, watch (i feel absolutely naked without my watch).

Fall - Early Spring: Jeans or jogging pants, T-shirts, reg socks, watch.

I will REFUSE to wear anything like "Sunday's Best" . . . cant breathe in that attire and restricts movement. I will dress up a bit for interviews, but that is about it. As for colors, i prefer dark or blue oriented coloration, some gray. I love wearing jackets though, so fall/early winter are my favorite seasons just because of being able to wear them. :D

I basically have a cool/cold weather uniform and a warm one:

Cool: Jeans, t-shirt (usually black or white- I have one blue) and a bunny hug (hoodie)

Warm: Jeans, t-shirt or tank top. If it's too warm for jeans I'll wear a sarong; I don't like shorts.

Footwear is almost always sneakers. Too warm, sandals. Too cold (or the snow gets too deep), combat boots.

I don't like long sleeve shirts. I don't mind long sleeve sweatshirts worn over a t-shirt, but I have to be able to take the long sleeve sweatshirt off if I get hot or uncomfortable. I like t-shirts, but they have to fit well, and be loose, not tight fitting. I like sweat pant(the kind with cuffs at the ankle(not bunched up with elastic or the strait leg style). I like practally anything that is Danskin brand. It is sports wear and is usually soft and comfy. I can't wear shoes inside, because I tend to stumble or trip on things. I prefer to be barefoot as much as possible. I want to feel the ground that i am walking on. I wear regular street clothes to bed, and it drives my husband crazy. He prefers to sleep with NOTHING on. NOT Me. With two boys, I'm not going naked anywhere in my house. I prefer shorts and t-shirt. Now that I moved to a house that I have to pay for the heat, I now sleep in sweats when it is cold out. ( even wear socks, which I never do inside) I don't like thick materials. I like it thin and easy to move in.

- I ALWAYS wear a white singlet and underwear when I'm at home or outside.

On top of that,

Summer and Spring - long sleeved or short sleeved shirt
boxers (yes, I wear underwear and boxers)
shorts/jeans/long cotton pants
cap

Winter and Autumn - long sleeved shirt
boxers
jumper
jeans/long cotton pants
beanie
jacket (when outdoors)

I like wearing colours that aren't "loud", eg black, grey, brown, dark blue.

I like my Tigger overalls and Pooh overalls
with my Tigger shirts and happy prints shirts
that go with them. I have Veggie Tales on
my "shooze" (shoes).

I have cats all over my socks.
