Im thinking maybe we have a 'everything is someone elses fault' kind of mentality over here so if a kid is misbehaving there must be something wrong with him!

And of course, the Tony Attwood debacle. In his effort to make a name for himself he diagnosed every man, woman, child and their dog with AS and got many others in the field to do the same. There are alot of 'Attwood Aspies' out there, they may have AS, but they may just be a tool and misdiagnosed for selfish reasons. It worked, he is now considered the god of AS, the downside, the condition is pretty much a joke from outside perspective because of the over-diagnosing and 'add-style' hype.
Really? I didnt know he had a bad reputation. A psychologist i was talking to said i should see Tony Attwood to get reassessed cos i live not that far away from where he is. Maybe this is a bad idea?
