The problem with the introverted person is they become possessed by their own inner world. They become resentful because others have not understood the thoughts they have never communicated. They make assumptions that only could be grasped by a psychic. And they withdraw further because they assume no one can appreciate the complexity of their efforts.

THAT sounds more like a psychological aberration somewhat beyond simple introversion.

Hey :!: Maybe these people could start "Recovery for NTs"
"NTs Anonymous - 12 Step Recovery"

Oh, here's a good one "Recovery for Blondes"

"Recovery for Politicians"

"Recovery for Animal Lovers"

"Recovery for Left Handed People"

Those make about as much sense.

True. Introversion is simply that social gatherings drain your energy and you need time to yourself in order to recharge. Extroversion is the opposite. The extrovert becomes restless and down if he/she doesn't socialize enough, and recharges by being with other people. None of that has anything to do with resentment or people not understanding your uncommunicated thoughts. An extroverted person could be like that just as easily.

Introverts shouldn't feel obliged to alter their behaviour. Rather, our predominantly extroverted society needs to be made aware of what introversion is and isn't. Introverts may suffer difficulties not because they are introverts, but because they're expected to function in a social world designed by and for extroverts and face stigmatisation if they fail to conform to the standard.

agreed, and this applies for aspies/auties too and for anyother minority group
