I don't know if this is an Asperger's thing or just me, but I can't stand yoghurt drinks. I remember my Mum giving me a yoghurt drink when I was six, and I hated the taste and the texture of it. The sensation of it going down my throat made me gag. Even now, just seeing somebody else drink a yoghurt drink makes me feel queasy.

Another thing I don't like is eating out in public, like in a restaurant or the canteen at school. That's because I don't like the thought of people watching me eat, and sometimes the smell of other people's food puts me off my own.

I hate the feeling of rain on my face. I just hate it. I love water, but for some reason, I find rain on my intensely uncomfortable.

I'm not fond of the cold, maybe cause as a kid I found myself getting bronchitis or such though, it never was something I felt comfortable with...

It's most likely a matter of your own personal tastes, Kate. :)

I CANNOT stand two things: having tape on my fingers and holding something plastic (not rubber, though) with my entire hand. Tape on my fingers feels like my skin is being corroded. Holding plastic feels like I am putting my hand into something staticky. Because it makes my hands sweat, it also feels like I'm holding something warm and damp. Eww.

Besides, holding plastic causes the inner connection between my thumb and the rest of my hand sticky, and I try to rub it off on my other hand, but it doesn't go away until I wash my hands. Very annoying.

high-pitched squeaky sounds, like when packaging Styrofoam is rubbed together.

Nails scraping any surface (not really the sound, I just always have a mental image of fingernails peeling back during the action).

Hand wiping sand or sawdust or other dry material off of a dry surface.

Sticky substance on fingers (tape adhesive, sap, syrup etc)

The number one thing that I can think of right now is quite bizarre even to me. It's when socks have the seam across the tips of the toes instead of across the top of the toes. If I pick up a sock and realise that it's one of these kinds I immediately drop/throw it and my whole body involuntarily shudders as though I've just been covered in bugs.

Also touching velvet, except it might not actually be velvet but that's what I've always called it. It's soft when you pet it one way but when you pet it the opposite way... I can't even describe how awful the feeling is. It's so terrible when I touch it thinking it's the fabric that looks similar but is soft when you pet it in any direction. My mom's favourite chair is made of the nightmarish material and I honestly don't know how she can sit on it every night.

Sorry, I couldn't decide on just one. Here are my top three.

Strong wind in my face makes me nauseous.

The sound of people giving each other quick kisses on the lips. You know, when they lip kiss several times in a row. The sound of the saliva just drives me up a wall. My parents used to do this constantly. They would kiss like this 10 to 20 times in a row. OMG it grossed me out and gave me chills.

Using a pencil sends chills up my arm. The scraping of the graphite is like nails on a chalk board to me. That made elementary school not so much fun.
