Implied he was lying, boss was saying they could come up with a better lie. Maybe boss thinks they work slow and thought this was an excuse? It's an incredibly rude comment though.

I'm not sure if she thought I was lying but she did seem to brush it off. I'm not looking for sympathy just a little understanding.

I only told once I had documentation from my doctor confirming my dx. That way no one would think I was lying. I told my boss, my supervisor, and a teacher with whom I share the same classroom. No one else needs to know.

I practice the "Don't ask, don't tell" policy - which as you've probably guessed means, If they don't ask me, I don't tell them. I don't want to inflict my problems on others.
