SAT scores

750 verbal versus 590 math. unfortunately they got rid of my favorite section (the analogies) when they made the new SAT.

1190.
680 verbal, 510 math.

Part of the problem with math is that I tend to space out when I'm working on problems. So, yeah, I'm making careless mistakes often.

Overall, I didn't do as well as I could have. For some reason SpEd folks thought I needed someone to read every question out loud - no joke. I am hard of hearing, and at the time was dx'd "emotionally disturbed" (I wasn't dx'd with AS until a couple years ago).
What the hell kind of sense does it make to read things aloud to a HoH person?

So I got in an argument with the woman who was supposed to read it, because I wanted nothing to do with it (I probably have auditory processing issues, to boot). Won the argument, and she sat and fumed while I took it for a couple hours. And got to be suitably distracted for the rest of the test-taking period.

now that's a pretty interesting idea. i wouldn't have guessed that the number of competitors would be a factor. i never felt like i was competing. on the other hand i could certainly see how more test takers might equal more distractions.

I had 790 in math but 610 in verbal.. I absolutely sucked at memorizing words..

I never did SAT because I live in Italy and here we don't do that. But I can say that I'm (in order and everything above average):

Visualization and spatial rotation > Math > Verbal
