I'm an aspie, and I judge people by their religion, economical status, where they come from, their dialect and their accent.

You forgot the fourth type, AspieNazis.

We're different. Not better, not worse, just different.

Because we are different in significant ways, as a minority, we are often put at a disadvantage in the general society. That technically does not make us better. If we were the majority, then we would be at an advantage. That still does not make us better or worse. All aspies are different in their skillset, their mindset, and their personality, anyway.

I was thinking the same thing.

Even if the original poster were right -- what good does being awesomest do if you live in a society that won't accept it?
It also doesn't endear NTs to us or our situation.

I was going to say something but the AS community has responded pretty well here. The only thing I would add is the the original poster is probably the kind of guy if he lived in world that was only filled w/people w/AS he would find some reason to make himself feel superior in that environment as well. Some people just walk through life w/ a chip on their shoulders.

"The best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity"

In other words. those who shout the loudest about how great they are are usually the ones who have the least to brag about. : )

If you truly believe we are better than NTs, you should take a week living in my entirely ASD house. It is really F****d up here. They are rude, violent and agressive. I too have had my moments. If that makes us better than NT's then pigs can fly.

(note: pigs cannot fly)

No, we're not. We each have strengths, but we also have great weaknesses. I think being able to connect with others is important, and that's something I simply cannot do well, if at all.

We aspies are more humane then NT's,we dont judge a person by his racial, religious or economical status.
There is not a shred of superficiality in us, we mean what we say.there is no deceitful in us ,we are truly genuine people.
We dont hurt other people feelings for our amusement purpose.
we have contributed so much to humanity through out our history.
We can be very focused and hard working if we are following our interests.we outclass NT"s .
Shouldn't we be proud to be Aspies?

I think I understand what you were trying to get at here. Sometimes the scale can become a little tipped before we find a balance. You are fine and don't let some of the more harsh responses here bother or upset you. It's hard always to be on the outside looking in, and even here I still feel a little bit like that. That's just a personal thing for me I guess.

No. But that's my opinion.

BS.

Some NTs are great people, some ASDers are absolute dicks. We're all just people, neither group is all bad or all good.

I have made up my mind about this:

You all got trolled! Hahahaha! Do any of you notice that the OP hasn't replied to anything that was said in this topic? Nope, I bet he's just sitting there and laughing at you all because you fell for the flamebait! How do you all feel about yourselves?
