fixated on certian objects as adults?

I tend to be fascinated and obsessed with the objects that I happen to collect; if I happen to see them somewhere, even in passing, I have to stare, or stop and look. These would be (currently): dvd´s, candles, flower arrangements- (at the moment I´m fascinated by Christmas floral arrangements. I´m always looking for flowers to buy, I like to keep fresh bouquets in my apartment at all times. Well, I guess technically speaking flowers are not an "object", as they are alive). I am also currently obsessed with wigs, and am looking for more to add to my collection.

Otherwise, I also love objects with nice textures: somebody mentioned "squishies", are those the balls that are a children´s toy, that you can squeeze and squish? Yeah, I love those. Actually, there are a lot of children´s toys that I love to touch, so whenever I´m in a children´s shop I touch all the things with cool textures. I also like nice, cushy, soft sweaters and socks, for the feel.

And I love to watch spinning things, I can become mesmerized by them.

I recently downsized my collection of video tapes. At the moment, I have about fifteen bin liners in my living room that are full of tapes that I bought on impulse and either watched once or not at all.

Keys, pens, old small toys belonging to my kids, clocks, calendars, tools, nails, string, flags, thread, name tags, buttons, marbles, game pieces--all the odds and ends in my old cookie tins and kitchen junk drawer. I also keep flotsam and jetsam in case it comes in handy one day.
