PunkyKat: Pfft! Ofc you can become a vet! Sure the school is hard. But if you have the interest and clearly you do ;) , its easier to learn. And that you already learn everything you see. Nah, I think you can do it! :D

IdahoRose: I agree! I enjoy watching anime and there's alot to choose from! ^^
Do you play the animeshow aswell? Or just use the characters? Made a bit curious. <.< I play sims3 a bit.

Legend of Zelda. I'm not really a gaming fanatic, but I've been obsessed with LoZ from the moment I started playing Phantom Hourglass about 2 years ago. When I'm bored or upset, I like to retreat into my thoughts of Link, Zelda, or just Hyrule in general. Sometimes, (and I would never admit this to people in real life) I like to imagine that I am Zelda. Acutally, my idea of an ideal male partner is based on Link...yeah, I'm a total loser

If only I had a more practical obsession... :?

I have way too many. But currently, my biggest is Myst.
It's a bit late, I know, since it was mostly popular in the 90s. But whatever. I love adventure, especially adventure that has to do with old style books, surreal worlds, worlds in general, fictional languages, fictional ancient civilizations, problem solving, etc.
Fantasy worlds and blank books or journals are some of my few lifelong obsessions, since I've created my own fantasy world with a story to go with it and I collect books and journals just to marvel at them. Each I feel is too precious to write in, and if I do write in one it must be perfect writing.
And plus, Myst is a franchise, with five games and a spinoff and a recently terminated online version and three novels and two comics and an upcoming independent film adaption. So yeah. =)

Hey Eirun, I have just about read your full story about your cats. The first I reacted on was actually the photos *I have way easier for reading pictures than a lot of text, my aspy thing* and I was thinking WOW these are GOOD photos! So I was happy when I came to the end of your text and found out you share two of my special interests in combination with each other: photography and cats! Because I love to take photos of cats, they are such wonderful creatures. Today I went to a pet exhibition and there I took a photo of a Cornish Rex - just to show you :D

xalepax: What a goodlooking cornish! <3
Im trying to put Moira out on exhibitions, but she's too small still. She was on one as a kitty and got full points. *proud* But we're going again when she's 10 months and can start earning "real" points. I dont think I'll drag her far up though, but atleast to the first titel, champion.
Hehe, yeah I love photographing! And what could be better models then cats. ;) I have a rather good camera. A Canon eos 450D, I just need to read that book about it.. that I bought almost 2 years ago.. Then I might actually take really good pictures! :D

To be honest I know nothing about raising breed cats....I had a cornish rex once in my life but I was like 13 years old by then and we didnt bring it to exhibitions. My dad choosed the cat because it didnt spread hair everywhere like other cats do...
A good camera you have indeed... I was a coward last time I bought a camera. I wanted a SLR one like you have but was affraid it would be to much struggling with it so I grabbed a Canon G10 instead. Its quite compact but still have features and quality results like an SLR...

oh yeah I have to show you this photo as well, its so funny, look at this cat!! *I know the photo is blurred*

Hmm, my main 3 are Latin/ancient Rome (specifically Augustus), Coldplay, and The Beatles. I'm a bit rabid in my interest, haha! Also Doctor Who, PG Wodehouse, Monty Python, House, and Enlightenment philosophers (John Locke!)... Yes, most of them are British, but alas, I'm American :( :P

Doctor Who, it all began with daleks and then DT but it turned DT wasn't my special interest, it was the show but not too obsessive with the slash stuff on dA. I do love DT but I giving Matt Smith a chance because I was actually impressed with his personaility or was it the rock background music that got me into Matt Smith. I didn't even mind Christopher Eccleston but I still love DT but not as rabidly.

Yesssss, another Doctor Who fanatic!! Wasn't the End of Time so sad? I absolutely adore David Tennant, I'm not sure how I feel about Matt Smith...

My biggest special interest is I Love Lucy. I am a collector of memorabilia. This August marks the 10-year anniversary of when I started my collection.

Physics! Math! Awareness! Existence!

Everything is connected, I can segue a discussion about a movie plot into a reference to the Bekenstein Bound and whether black hole entropy is conserved or not.

I'm obnoxious, to say the least.

And I just about realised that I havent mentioned my major special interest in YouTube. But Im sure nobody is interested to hear my story about all my channels whereabouts there, my deleted videos and the fact that my most popular channel is given away because I simply lost interest in its content which in its turn was based on a previous extremely intence special interest......
