I also think the Sunny in Neighbours seems a bit aspie. Just the way she reacts to things and doesn't understand social connections. Also she doesn't like high heels, which many aspie women find a problem.

I think that is because she is not used to Western life.

If anyone is a bit aspie on Neighbours it's Donna. She doesn't really know when to stop talking or what is appropriate to say.

No, she's supposed to be gifted. She doesn't have any social awkwardness at all save for her giftedness.

Yes, like Malcolm from Malcolm in the Middle.

Felix Unger from The Odd Couple
Danny Tanner of Full House
Diane Chambers of Cheers
Schroeder in Peanuts
Dexter in Dexter's Lab
Brainy Smurf

I think these characters have Asperger's.

There's a character on Degrassi who has Asperger's Syndrome and I think his name is Connor. Yup, I just checked on google (wow when I typed in connor on degrassi, one of the search suggestions was: "what is wrong with connor on degrassi"). He's a pretty good representation of AS I think, it doesn't look overdone, like they didn't put every single possible trait of AS there could be and make them look silly like some people on here said theyd probably do if there was a character with AS on TV. He's actually going to be on an upcoming episode of Degrassi again (of course, he's one of the major characters). He first appeared in the episode Uptown Girl, Part one. The last episode I saw of him was with the principal when his friends and people were protesting him being expelled for pushing Alli down. Alli, Clare, and other people I forget their names protested it and it worked. The principal also got in trouble because they got footage of him and his terrible treatment of students. (for example he called a student a swear word, and called connor a freak, he didn't punish the football players for jumping jane in the locker room)

Kramer from 'Seinfeld'.

I look very well adjusted and laid back compared to him.

I always thought that Frasier and Niles (especially Niles) from the Frasier Crane show seemed very Aspie like. They are highly intelligent. There was one episode when a guy from their childhood who had bullied them was on. Niles asked him if "he remembered picking on a small boned, pale boy with a large vocabulary". There was also an episode where Frasier and Niles had to admit that they had never learned to ride a bike. It was hilarious! Daphne tried to teach them as adults and it was too much. I absolutely love that show!! !! Maybe it is just me, but that is what I think!

I second that. As I keep trying to point out on these threads, Mr Bean is not supposed to understand the conventions of human society because, quite simply, he is NOT human! It's NOT because he's an Aspie!

And the same goes for the inevitable mention of Doctor Who that hasn't yet come up here, but always does on these threads.

Abed from Community. I suspected it. Then I finally saw the pilot. In the pilot, one of the characters tells abed that he has Asperger's.

Steve Urkel from Family Matters. He had much social immaturity.

In the night garden - Makkapakka

He plays by himself all day, lives alone in a cave, follows exactly the same routine every episode, collects stacks cleans and sleeps with his stones and loves his ball...

Diane and Frasier on CHEERS have been mentioned. I think Cliff (and probably Woody) also qualify.

Besides Lisa Simpson, I would also nominate the Comic Book Guy and Professor Frink.

Basil Fawlty in FAWLTY TOWERS. John Turturro's character Herb Stempel in QUIZ SHOW. Maybe Nigel Tufnel (played by Christopher Guest) in THIS IS SPINAL TAP.
