Personality Disorder Test Results:

Paranoid || 10%
Schizoid |||||||||||||||||||| 90%
Schizotypal |||||||||||||| 58%
Antisocial |||||||||||| 42%
Borderline |||||||||||||||| 62%
Histrionic |||| 18%
Narcissistic || 10%
Avoidant |||||||||||| 42%
Dependent |||||||||||||||| 62%
Obsessive-Compulsive |||||||||||||||||||| 90%
It is interesting that there are very high scores on Schizoid or Schizotypal here. I can see that I am not paranoid or narcissistic at all. Which is odd because it contradicts eachother. But maybe that is because my reason for not being paranoid is that I don't see the intentions of other people or speculate on them. But I am very introverted and that may result in only knowing oneself, which may lead to narcissism. But maybe not. I am not good at admiring myself so that may cause narcissism to be eliminated. I am not histrionic because I am quite minimally involved with other people. I am dependent on people because I cannot make enough money to support myself and I cannot keep an overview of administrative papers. I can make toast but I like eggs with my toast and I like to be sure I get my eggs right so I ask my mother how I am supposed to cook my eggs. I have a very high percentage for schizoid personality disorder because the charecteristics are closely related to the charecteristics of autism, combined with obsessive-compulsive personality disorder. So basically I learn only a different way my variation of autism could be described.

I've had Borderline suggested to me before, bit I'm not dxed with it. I am actually dxed with OCD, but this test and other online tests say I don't have it and I agree with them. I'm like the complete opposite of OCD in many ways... grrr....

Interesting. I had an "evaluator" totally blow his vague meandering attempts to peg me with various psychiatric / personality disorders. But tests reveal only Aspergers as the possible conclusion. Took this test with curiosity.

Having Aspergers and being a meditating yogi lead to interesting results. But not accurate.

I wonder if different cultures view different traits in other ways.

Fortunately the world is vast enough to allow odd ppl room to just be themselves peacefully.

This is easy to explain: Schizoid personality disorder is similar to AS; which I was formally diagnosed with. I know I have a dependent personality, but I'm not sure if it's severe enough to warrant a diagnosis of a disorder.

If this is the test at: http://similarminds.com/cgi-bin/newpd.pl, the author's notes are:
'General Note: The validity and reliability of DSM personality disorders are still lacking in strong statistical evidence and clear agreement in the scientific and medical community. They are determined by the American Psychiatric Association and will likely be revised in the future.
Author Note: I don't think Schizoid personality is a valid disorder (read), some of the smartest people in history were schizoid because they occupied a remote end of the intelligence bell curve. Schizotypal personality can encompass highly original thinkers as well as totally insane people so I think it's a flawed type. I think the remaining eight disorders are generally valid.'

Schizoid and Schizotypal are vague and subjective terms from a past age. As has been said earlier, these terms apply v much to Aspergers people.

I don't think that there are enough questions for this test to be accurate, on such an important matter.

BTW, in the Myers-Briggs classification (not a recognised, official psychological test), Aspergers people are usually INFP.

There's another test at: http://www.4degreez.com/misc/personalit ... er_test.mv

I just took the test you linked and it came up with higher results in some areas than the first test mentioned in this thread, but I do think that this test was more comprehensive in some respects (questions easier to understand) but I do think they could've improved by giving it three different choices for each question, example: Never, Sometimes, and Often... I do believe this would make it more accurate, as some questions are regarding things that sometimes you would engage in but it isn't often - and often depends on specific situations...

I just took this test and the schizoid remained the same, but other things changed. I was Borderline in the other, and now I'm not, I think this has to do with the additional questions that went beyond depressed mood and mood liability.
