I have flashes of intuition sometimes, but it's usually wrong though.

So intuition improves with experience? Hmmmm...

I always thought it was something that people had?

interesting point.... so having said that... as we get older does our aspergers go away the more social situations we are in? I find it hard for some chemical imbalance or possible "white matter" or neuron connection problem in the brain to go away just through being around people more and more?

its happend to me before. i used to have religious OCD i think like where i had to do something a certain way, usually it was flushing the potty before i counted to 4 or otherwise i was gonna go to hell

now that that awful mess has left me i am left with pure unbrideld aspergers with occasional nervousness that causes studdering

^once this leave me, then i will fully grasp the social scene and make my move. 8)

I have / rely on intuition [depeending on how we define it/ a lot. Not just my own sense of it - I have had comments from several people.

I used to try to be a good little Mob member, esxpecially in my early days in academia, and live in the left brain on logic and peer-reviewed data and the rule book. Found I was too cramped, could never say so much that was obvious. I cannot do it wel enough to fool them, and it is uncomfortable, so I let the right side play. It mattereth not to me be it subconscious summing up of observation, waves from Universal Mind, or telepathy - it works, and others are surprised when the person I knew was a jerk the moment I met him proves it.

I can often see right through hype, and sometimes I notice social things that nobody else seems to spot - like in a group of people when there's one person who's trying to get included but nobody seems to notice they exist - I often notice that. Probably because my attention isn't as fixed on the centre of the group as it "should" be, and because I know how difficult and annoying it can be when I can't get listened to.

Before I was DXed with Aspergers, I used to think I was more in tune with feelings than the average Joe was. I still have a feeling that I've got some kind of enhanced perception in that area, though it's quite a paradox. :?
