i do not like water but i am very glad it exists.

i never drink pure water because it is tasteless and extremely boring.
when i have a shower, i always feel intruded upon by being wetted (coinage).

if i am dressed during the day or in bed at night, i would very much be dissatisfied by getting wet.
when i get undressed and i am ready to get into the shower , i still feel as if i do not want to let my body get wet. so for the first minute or so of my daily shower i feel "jeez...errrk..owch..yuk", but after that i get used to it and kind of like it because it is warm and cleansing.
after i get out of the shower i feel so cold and wet and i hate the feeling unless i have a heater going that i can run to and dry myself in front of.

i can not go to bed for at least an hour after a shower because my hair is wet and my skin is also not completely dry, so i must have my shower when i know i will be up for 2 hours after i have it.

i must be completely dry when i go to bed.
I have this too.

I also used to have a huge coordination problem with swimming. I had to make a large circle with my legs and a small circle with my arms. All the other children seemed to do it with ease but I could not do it. I also had this problem with riding a bicycle.

I love water. I love to feel it, to hear it, to see it. I love the way I feel in it.

I absolutely hate water. Being wet is my number-one sensory issue, especially getting my face wet. I take baths to prevent getting my face wet. And I despise swimming. Not only do you get wet, but you also have to put up with the nauseating smell of chlorine. I can't drink water, either. It makes me (literally) gag.

I love water, and prefer to live near the coast so I can go swimming in the ocean.

When I lived in southern California, I was always "attracted" to the rhythmic sound and salty smell of the beaches there. I found the ocean to be a very invigorating place as long as I remained on shore.

I love water...love swimming, and love walking in the rain.

I have this deep down feeling, though, that Lake Michigan will be the death of me. I don't know if it's a premonition, or if it's just because when you look at it, it feels like eternity...like you can't see across it to the other side, and you know there's no way you could ever see the bottom of it, or learn what's down there (at least not without a lot of expensive diving equipment).

If you've seen the original Japanese Ring movie series, maybe you know what I mean...I don't want to spoil the movies by mentioning it, though.
