I speak in remodulated low bass, wear a black shiny basket on my head and strangle people by pointing at them.

Okay, not really :(

In my diagnostic report, my speech was described as "monotonous and somewhat robotic". I've recorded myself a couple of times, and the only thing that stands out for me in my speech is my accent; when I'm tired, it's stronger because it becomes harder to control the muscles involved in speaking to an extent that removes the accent. I also speak very slowly most of the time, but sometimes I get bursts of energy and in this case, I might often speak very fast and loud.

Low-pitched and monotonous.

When I am happy and relaxed, it is a high childlike sing-song sorta voice....When I am mad if can go pretty low....the contrast may puzzle some people....

Really slow, I'm told. Intonationally monotonous, I've been told.

Low pitched as a rule but not basso.

Often in lecture mode, or facetiously folksy. Adjust to fit conversation partner - people can tell who is on the other end of the phone by whether I go brisk or near British or uncharacteristicall colloquial.

I'm definitely a pretty unique talker, at least around here. My voice is quite loud naturally, and has a fairly deep note while still maintaining a strange high-pitch twang.. Kinda like a subwoofer without a box around it. I use rather large words, and have a very expressive/musical disposition (something like Jim Carey I guess, though my eyes prolly dart around more) and all the while I speak with tons of random slang and weird SpEd impressions a lot of times when I don't need to give a serious answer. This is actually really hard to describe haha, in a nutshell you could say I'm a stoned-sounding, "articulate English professor" version of Jim Carey who randomly throws in stuff like "werd up mang breh" just cause it's entertaining to say 8)

I also speak in a much more formal fashion, than most people, male or female. I never did see the logic of Valley Talk and making all sentences sound like questions.

hello there:+) an AS feature is "unusual prosody of speech" [monotonic, sing-song, odd metrical flow]. as for myself [you asked] i tend to sound like an octave-lower basso-version of bill gates [or that deep-voiced spaceship robot in "Wall-E"]- gutteral, monotonic, or monotonous. when i get a cold or sinus infection [which is often] this drops an octave yet, and i sound like somebody is playing a tape-recording [of me] back at 1/2 speed. unfortunately, a voice for print, as they say.
i am sure you have a beautiful voice, btw.

Alot of people have told me that I would make a great news reporter or radio-show host because of my voice and the way I speak.
Apparently, I use proper grammar most of the time and annunciate my words a peculiar way, making them sound very clear and crisp. (Other times when I am tired, though, my speech tends to be slurred).
I also have a very rehearsed-sounding, formal tone of voice, like someone on the news.
Usually, I speak very softly. In public, you usually have to be right next to me in order to hear and understand what I am saying. I hate speaking loudly.

But of course, some days I sound completely different; monotonous, can't control the tone or volume of my voice, stuttering, having awkward pauses, making up words, forgetting words, and just not being overall coherent. It sucks when I get like that.

Many, many people have told me that I have a strange accent that they just can't quite place. I've lived here all my life; yet, I sound different from anyone else who has grown up in this area.

In that case, you won't mind broadcasting in superboyian's radio station?

--------------------------------

My speaking is normally just normal just anybody else but like when I enter crowds... I sudden become quite silent that people have to tell me to speak up... (which I don't like doing).

I have a weird feeling I have monotone tone and pretty stuffy tone...

YouTube video for you guys to judge... Sorry it seemed a little awkard, first vlog of my life... 8O

My speaking style ranges from monotone with elaborate hand gestures to clumsy and excited with minimal hand gestures.

When I'm relaxed it's very monotonous and I use my hands and arms a lot. When I'm under a lot of immediate pressure I mix up words, misspronounce them, momentarily forget which language I'm speaking in (I think in English instead of Dutch), have very little control over the volume of my voice, develop a slight stutter and my hands and arms remain virtually motionless.

I have a very loud, nasally voice and I stutter. my tone and body language is generally exaggerated and child-like.

I think you have a pleasant voice, superboyian. Then again, I'm American, so I tend to think all people with English accents sound pleasant.

It sounds slightly monotonous, but much less so than mine. I don't think it sounds very stuffy at all. It sounds slightly high-pitched, but I actually think that men with higher-pitched voices sound better than men with lower voices. Probably because I hang out with my dad and brother all the time and they have higher-pitched voices. :)

All in all, I think you'd do great doing the voice for your own radio show!
