Have you told anyone about your AS and what did they say?

I think about it. Maybe I invite my friend from school and show her the movie "Adam". And if her reaction is good, I will tell her about me. If not, I will keep silence. But I'm afraid she will see my features in movie and say You're Autist, so you are abnormal, I don't want to know person like you, it can be dangerous. Or sth like this.

I live with a half-deaf girl and it's ok. She's not used to talk and me too. She's not very sociable and goes to bed after midnight. She's NT but she knows how is being other

I haven't personally, except on the 'net of course.

Everyone knows in person, and for that I'm glad, as it sucked when people thought negative things of me or bullied me due to the simple fact that I didn't interact with them.

The only people who know that I have Asperger's are my family and I made a foolish mistake informing a ''friend'' that I had AS. Needless to say that she didn't want to know after that.

Which I don't understand why and it hurt, still hurts but I have taken it as a lesson not to tell everyone, whether I can trust them or not.
It's just further rejection.

The people that know are close family, teachers and a few friends/old friends that I no longer see.
And the reactions haven't been bad
