I can repeat conversations and things that were said with amazing accuracy, which is funny because I have trouble hearing them and understanding what was said, even simple phrases. I have to think about every word, so perhaps it stems from that . . . like if my roommate were to ask me "Have you seen the remote?" I will hear words and sounds, but I have to think to make sense of them. Sometimes I ask for a repeat, but sometimes it's just my mind running the sounds through several times at almost imperceptible speeds until it makes sense. Which may be why I can recall precise exchanges when I try.

Or they could be completely unrelated.

Fail. I was not alienated. :)

I have also found that I am able to predict events with great accuracy with only a few cue's. But, I find this to be extreemly frustrating because armed with that knowledge I am unable to do anything about it since 99% of the time it would require some change in behaviour on my part inevitably involving more social interaction and thereby increasing my social anxiety. So, I usually do nothing, and then watch it unfold.

yeah, i'd be a really great superhero if i did all those things. but i don't. i work in an office, and i don't let anybody know about my fart powers. would you? ah christ, it's the most embarrassing thing in the WORLD!

Something you might find interesting...my grandma was in a chiller one day at work and discovered that when you fart in one, it stays in one spot. This, in my mind, would be one of the best chances of trying to catch a fart in a jar. That could be a super power.

My super power is communicating with animals and I've known this since I was a toddler.

My superpower is the ability to tell if I'll get along with someone within seconds of meeting them. I don't know how, but I just think 'I don't like them' or something along than line, and they do something really mean later.

I have this ability, too.

And also: Reading/anaylzing people pretty accurately, sometimes immediately after meeting them without needing to hear them talk much

I can see the future. Sounds stupid, yes, but it's true. I randomly think of something or someone, and it ends up happening (or I end up meeting or talking to that person) in real life soon after.

I'm pretty good at psychoanalysis of people, and figuring out the reasons behind things.

mental telepathy... but only when the person has evil intent. I can't read a well-meaning person, only a bad one. Plus an extremely good memory for voices, smells, touch. I remember conversations from 20 years ago ... forbatim.

Me too. Not exactly conversations but situations. And I say: Here was this, there was that and we had yet old carpet and pictures of flowers on the wall and the wall was yellow with some scratches here... You spoke about this-and-that and later we went to the shop and bought blue comb and four pink soaps... I guess it must be 20th of May, 1992!

Person: o f....!

I can learn things I'm interested in very rapidly, especially languages. And I can remember pages in books and how they were laid out, so that if I have to take a test or something I can flip through the pages in my mind and find the answer. And numbers, like credit card numbers and social security numbers, etc. can get stuck in my head. People get upset when you tell them their credit card numbers. Good thing I'm honest. One time I had the UPC code number from a lamp stuck in my mind for a year.

Re: memory, Me too. People have learned to ask me if they can't remember a date or some detail. Sometimes I realize how many things other people forget and it makes me a little sad.

I can immediately tell you what I was doing on July 4 or January 1 of any year. Random dates... hit and miss.

I have the uncanny ability to appear arrogant despite my general self-doubt. It's a passive power, constantly in effect.
