This has nothing to do with the facebook test, but I'll give this thread a little meat anyway.
When I was 14, was tested using the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-III. This was the same day I received a diagnosis of ADHD. Last year I realized that ASD might be a bit closer to the truth, so I dredged up these scores, along with other childhood psych evaluations.
Full Scale IQ: 134
Verbal IQ: 129
Performance IQ: 133
Here are all the subtests that make up these scores:
Vocabulary (word knowledge): 18
Similarities (abstract verbal thinking): 16
Comprehension (common sense judgment): 16
Information (background knowledge): 13
Arithmetic (aural-verbal math): 12
Digit Span (short term auditory memory): 10
Symbol Search (processing speed): 18
Coding (working memory and copying): 12
Picture Completion (visual scanning): 17
Block Design (abstract spatial designs): 19
Object Assembly (assembly-familiar designs): 13
Mazes (motor planning and forecasting): 11
Picture Arrangement (visual sequencing): 14
It all makes even more sense in the context of ASD, with the deficiencies in working memory and forecasting falling under the umbrella of (slightly)impaired executive function. I'm not sure if I had just forgotten about the IQ test, but reading the results has given me some much-needed academic confidence. It's nice and all when people close to you tell you that you're smart, but numbers don't sugar coat anything.
