Opinions invalidated because of AS

I don't think it's a conscious effort to be rude on their part but because every else understands what they mean, they really can't be bothered explaining it in detail just so one person can understand. People just expect every else to be mind readers but that's not their fault because it's what they've lived by their whole life.

As for me, my mum quite often says to me "It doesn't matter, you just don't get it".
Of course it's invalidating but I don't think she's using my AS as an excuse to not explain things. I think more often than not, she doesn't know how to explain it.
