Yeah! Sometimes I just don't know what to do. It is terrible... But when I know, what I want, I hate when somebody wants to force me to something else!

Yup. I can make decisions but I need time, and no distractions. And nothing screws you up as much as having someone waiting for you. Not just waiting, but WAITING for you to choose. Because such people seldom wait in silence, and frequently assume that you want help (or in fact they can't stand waiting and act like they think you want help). I remember a couple of months ago trying to order lunch in a restaurant with my husband and three kids. The kids were fighting over bench space next to me I hadn't even had much of a chance to look at a menu. The waitress came up and took the orders but I had no clue. I wanted her to take theirs and give me another minute but she just stood there. Well, as long as the little jerk stood staring at me I couldn't think. I wanted to smack her so hard. If I'm willing to wait for my food in order to reduce pressure enough to allow me to think, that's my problem.

Of course, it's just the sort of thing that makes everyone think I'm rude, for not appreciating the poor girl's awkward situation or he eagerness to take my order with everyone else's. She just didn't want to have to come back too soon. I do get sick of people assuming I'm just being difficult. My mind went blank, is that my fault?
Did anyone tell you you were rude?
And that situation was not awkward for that girl, I think.
It would be very odd if she felt awkward.
She could feel embarrassed if she was in any way related to you.
But otherwise it just seems like a one-way awkwardness street.

I was just having trouble choosing between going to the mall to pick up a CD, and going to a brunch outing at IKEA. I've decided to pick my CD up in two hours, instead.

I can choose, but it always takes me the longest(for example on a restaurant menu )

Yes. If I can get away with it, I tend to choose "both"
Otherwise it can take quite some time, and if I'm hurried by someone it just takes more time.
Never sit with the back to people/open spaces.

I have complained of similar situations to people who clearly thought I was overreacting. I have been called rude in the past. This just seems like another one of those situations, times in which my sensibilities run up against what others consider appropriate. Hence, rudeness. No one called me rude at that time because I wasn't... My kids were screaming and elbowing each other, I couldn't think, I tried to ask her to come back later and she just stayed. I almost got up and walked out. It's all kind of a blur, other than that. I don't know how anyone could fail to feel awkward staring at someone who is trying to think in the middle of all that, but I often wonder how people can act the way they do without being embarrassed. Frankly, I'm jealous.

I tend to have trouble when it comes to making decisions. At a restaurant, for example, it might take me a while to decide what to order, especially if's one I've never been to. I think logically and have to weigh advantages and disadvantages of each option. Picking a seat in an empty room is not as difficult to me. I may just pick one at random, typically towards the front

It does bug me when some people simply won't take "no preference" as an answer.

It's even the way I shop, I have the people that work there pick for me. I also never now what I want, I never asked something for Christmas or any other holiday, my parents gave me stuff, and I was happy, because it was a gift, but it never went beyond that. I'm still having the same trouble with studying, I have no idea what I want to pick at school, I'm now getting my 3re degree and will soon start a fourth, just because that way I don't have to pick.
