I hesitate to ascribe any particular characteristic to these fictional characters. As with so much of allegorical fiction, the characters are archetypes.

To suggest that one or another of them is an Aspie is to diminish their relevance to a reader for whom the archetype might be equally applicable, but not the specific characteristic.

You might be an Aspie, gay, live with a learning disability, be of a minority ethnicity, or present any number of other characteristics, and still find relevance in the characters of Piggy or Simon. They stand for all of us who live on the margins of a society that chooses to keep us there.

Well sorry for being creative, I guess you look down upon creativity.

I'm sorry for asking alot from other people to answer a hypothetical question, I understand now being around autistics that only a few can do this, this is what I was look for, and I know now that it isn't an area I should go into.

No, no, no. We stick to meltdowns in planed intervals so that we avoid that pitfall.

what a snob you are! You ask for input then you criticize people for giving their opinions, and THEN you take a swipe at people for being autistic on an autistic chat forum!

If you have read my other posts you would know I am not an expert, I just know the capabilities of my mind. I'm still learning that just because somebody has the same diagnosis as you doesn't mean they are beyond your ability. I saw this as a test to see if people were able to do what I do and reverse roles, make up stories, but only a few did and the rest either commented about how they didn't like it, disagreed with me, and one person was rude to me.

I wrote that post out of anger so if I am seen as offensive to people I'm sorry for that, I know I should not get wound up over constructive criticism, no matter how rude it is, and take it out on the entire community, once again I'm sorry.
