I have short hair, but have had a beard for a number of years.

I guess it is something to hide behind. Also cos most women don't go for guys with beards, it means I can be on my own which is what I want.

I've tried to grow a beard before. I don't know why a woman wouldn't be attracted to a man with a beard. That's how we look naturally. If you don't find beards to be attractive, why don't you find other women to be attractive. i think that most women are indifferent to beards. Those who do not like them, I suspect of being closet lesbians, or at least bisexual.

Congratulations, everyone that doesn't like beards is closet lesbian!

I could say the same for guys that like woman to be totally hair free.

Try Edge sensitive-skin fragrance-free shaving gel :D

BTW, I am 61 years old, and have a pony-tail halfway down my back

You know, I've never understood this. Boys spend hours in front of mirrors, searching for those first beardhairs. They finally grow in, and they are so proud of them. Then they obsessively cut 'em off for the rest of their lives. How weird is that?

I haven't seen a man yet that a beard doesn't look good on. As long as it's not like a santaclause beard. And I've seen a lot of men that a beard would definitely improve.

Sometimes I wish it were the '70s again. Think Cat Stevens around 1971/72. Like on the cover of Tea for the Tillerman or in the Teaser and the Firecat album (that would be vinyl recording, for the kiddies). Definitely made my heart go pitter-patter as a teen, and is worth a second look still.

Then again, I've known some military men, who couldn't wear long hair, who were not unattractive. So, I guess it's the total package, isn't it?

Course, if I got caught in a time warp, I wouldn't turn Cat down....

[Thunk, thunk, hello? Is this thing on???]

I like long hair on guys. GA is growing his hair and has had some nice comments from people here on WP about it (because it looks soft). I also like when he has a few days growth on his face because I can rub my face on it and it feels nice (but I can't handle clothes tags, huh?).
I think beards can look good on men when they are kept trimmed and neat. Some Klingons have great beards!

Was that intentional?

I've been growing a goatee for the past week. My facial hair is blonde right at the chin, and brown everywhere else.

Anyway, how can anyone fail to be attracted to this hair?

What I meant is if we're all supposed to like people how nature makes them, why are women with enhanced boobs, fake tan and waxed bikini areas attractive?

I suppose this makes a man a closet gay if he likes this on a woman? Well, going by Torretter's standards, anyway.

I'm certainly one of those guys that preferss a more natural look. I have long hair myself, and definitely enjoy seen the same on a woman!

I certainly do not like artifically enhanced boobs. They do not have a natural shape at all, and are obviously fake. They look more like she's stuffed toy balloons down her shirt ...you know like when a guy is attempting to fake a female look. Natural breasts are not perfectly round

Heck, I don't like women to wear makeup. I think it looks awful. I've seen many women over the years that wear so much makeup that they look clownlike, or the one I hate the most...they try and make their face look like it's ceramic. This looks awful. I don't know who gave them the notion that it looks attractive

...a little peach fuzz in the bikini area is no big deal either!
